Sorry what? I did it with 4 threads out of frustration of people constantly throwing up new threads, it's annoying being on forum spy, only to miss clicking the thread I wanted because someone somewhere, want's a link to buy a macbook...

If however, you like wading through duplicate after duplicate thread, please be my guest, why not ask how spore will run on your mac? or why one of your iPhone speakers is broken, or when the new macbooks will be released.

Tada

/Rant

everything you just mentioned are personal problems. if i see a thread that i don't care about, i simply ignore it. should people use search more? of course, but who cares? besides you of course.

it's not 30 days..
it's only 14 days..

just out of curiousity.. what's missing in the current MBP that will prevent the people who needs a laptop from doing their work????

I hate these questions. First off, why would anyone be stupid enough to buy a brand new MacBook Pro that's over 6 months old? We're talking about computers that go in and out of obsolescence on a much quicker scale than 6 months.

Intel has released new processors, there are much newer technologies out there and ALL of Apple's competitors have already released their new offerings... Why hasn't Apple taken stride?

Apple hasn't updated their laptops because they don't feel they need to. Apple will most likely update their laptops when they feel it is necessary.

It's frustrating as a customer, but a huge plus for the company.

Apple's notebooks are not as up-to-date as their competitors, but they still outsell those competitors despite higher prices.

[If it ain't broke, don't fix it]

yep totally! actually all I was doing was highlighting how this one feature would have made our lives a bit easier had they included flash card slots in their Macbooks as in like, oh I don't know, nearly every other laptop manufacturer! All well, I was just trying to suggest how they can make these laptops better, and all I get is people attacking me and saying "you don't need these features". Well guess what, I do! lol

Then go buy a DELL, HP, IBM, whatever... simple enough no?

There's a slightly problem there. It's called Windows lol. I'm so tired of working with a windows based computer. And for me it's almost impossible to use Linux because I use architecture and 3D rendering software that aren't supported on Linux. So I'm waiting for the new MBP to be happy :).
