No need to upgrade from 5 to 7

I am looking at the 8 as well. My 5 works fine. The only thing "missing" for my use is blood ox measurements, and I wonder if I would really bother checking it. Having a larger face would be nice, but I can wait. well, at least until I see a sale that is too hard to pass up!

What is the difference between series 5 vs. SE? I’m looking at getting the SE for my cousin. It will be her first AW so it doesn’t need to be too fancy.

The series 5 has an AOD which is nice but not essential. The SE doesn’t have the ECG function either I don’t believe whereas the series 5 does. I have a series 5 and the battery life isn’t great. The SE is a good shout

Thank you for your answer. I think she will enjoy the SE and hopefully it will serve as a motivator for her to get active and healthy.

I'm still on the 4. Apps still launch instantly. At this point it would need a blood glucose or blood pressure monitor for me to want to upgrade.

the 4 and 5 share the same processor
the 6 and 7 share the same processor
