I just going to go pick up the series 1 today then hope within 2 week and can return for series 2 im tired of waiting I've never owned a Apple Watch

I picked up my watch this morning from Apple. I saw availability at one of my closer apple stores and reserved it yesterday afternoon. Picked up a nylon band to go with it as well (42mm, silver alum). I wasn't sure about 42mm but after trying it on and since my main purpose for it will be fitness, I think it is fine. Fitness watches are generally huge anyway. It is definitely noticeably thicker than my AW0.

I also saw the Nike watches in the case and I was disappointed with the look of the band although wearing it around those with trypophobia would be fun.

I'd just keep checking your local Apple stores online. I saw availability pop up around 4pm yesterday at one of the Apple stores and it wasn't there at 3pm.

Just picked up a 42mm SG Sport series 2 at Best Buy in West Covina. They told me it was the last Apple Watch in the store... Only other place I saw that might have any was Burbank today...

This is so frustrating and ridiculous. I've tried my local Apple Store every morning, Best Buy and Target. Not a single watch available. It's clear that Apple made so few watches and that this is not a demand problem.
I ordered an AW on the 17th. Will be arriving the 23rd.

^a lot of people are getting their watches either the 22nd or 23rd make me optimistic that apple stores may have a full batch also?

Is it really true apple updates the site at 11EST 8PST? if that's the case best bet would be to go to the store early morning to see if a truck came?
