I run in complete darkness quite often, usually on trails, but sometimes on the road. This isn't enough; you need a vest, at least.
As stated in another post, I agree this band is not enough. This band is literally for one of those scenarios of "something is better than nothing" I am not saying this band is possibly going to save lives or something like that or that better safety gear can now be replaced.

For when you dropped $700 on a watch, but are still 5 years old.

Thats funny, but I see nothing wrong with that! I'm a 43 year old professional dude and I love bright and fun colors. Currently sporting a bright yellow watch band and multicolor Brooks shoes (along with boring blue scrubs). Girlfriend is a 40 year old lawyer and feels the same way.

If they made bright and colorful Mac and/or iPhones, I'd buy them! Black and gray is so boring....

That's bad timing. They introduced a watchband made from "fluoroelastomer rubber" which in turn is made from perfluorinated "forever chemicals". The same chemicals that the people most likely to have an Apple Watch are all excited about. Not to mention that "fluoroelastomer rubber" is really a plastic, just another polymer destined for the landfill.

It may emit green light, but it's certainly not Green.

Is it like anything else glow-in-the-dark? Charge it up and then it only glows for like 90 seconds?
Maybe a few minutes. But yeah.

I had a Timex didtal watch with a tritium display backlight. it didn't glow brightly but in a dark room it was always visible. Tritium emits alpha particles, which wouldn't get past the case so I wasn't worried about radiation. Cool watch.

Well that’s a way to get invited to all the fun parties.

This actually looks pretty cool. Tempted to order one! 🤩

I couldn’t resist. I just ordered it. 😭😭

Even tho I prefer Apple's own Apple Watch Ocean Band. Let's see how glowy this band is.

Pretty cool for runners and hikers and quite a few others, especially with the area I live a lot more evening/early morning runners really need to wear something high vis
They should use reflective gear. This will not be visible at all except in total darkness.
