Me too.

When I ordered, the option was DEFINITELY "Red 42mm".

I specifically wanted red (as I mentioned earlier on the thread).

I've never wanted a pink strap, so there's no way I would have ordered one.

I've just received another message:

"British people very bad, a lot of people are not willing to pay for purchases, one of the worst countries in Europe,We have put you to add a blacklist"

That escalated quickly... :eek:

How fingerprint heavy is it?
I have just bought myself the rose gold sport today but I want a black band for it, preferably a link bracelet, this looks like a good option.

Anyone got a Gen 4 link bracelet and can post photos showing how it fits and if the gaps can be seen in the links?

If you look close, some can be seen but it's hardly noticeable. I often clean my phone screen because I'm not a fan of fingerprints but have felt no need to polish the watch band!

yeah, i just noticed that as well.. must've got last one. But they say in one of the pictures "All stock and colours in on the 7th Oct."

I messaged him and said when can mine be shipped and got told 5th Oct (tomorrow). So might be lucky. Will inform you tomorrow if it's shipped.

I decided to go ahead and get the official Apple link bracelet. I do have a Version 3 from Freedomoclock that I would like to sell if anyone is interested. I will make you a good deal on it. I have had it for about 2 weeks. PM me if you are interested.

Looks really good with the watch, not 100%, but I definitely wouldn't call the band jet black. I really think it's a perfect fit for the watch, looks and feels great, very comfy. My one suggestion is to leave it a little loose when you size it, because it is rigid, it's not as fluid as the other 3rd party steel bracelets. Hard to explain.

Have you gone for the version 4?

I have a version 3 and am somewhat disappointed. I feel my version 1 is slightly better quality in terms of the strap feels more solid.

The version 3 seems very light and cheap. It also doesn't bend very well around my wrist and leaves gaps between the bracelet and my wrist. If I take one more link out its too tight...

I will be interested on your view on the gen 4.

Could you share a link to where you are getting it from?
 
I got the Apple made version yesterday. There are a couple variations of GEN 3. One has holes on the side for link removal and others like mine have the access to remove links in the underside of the band. Mine seemed to be pretty good quality and no lighter than the real band. It also seemed to flex around my wrist just fine.

The gaps are a little inconsistent compared to the Apple one. Generally it seems like the official is made under tighter tolerances.

I doubt the majority of people will ever be able to tell the differences from afar. It's easy to tell when wearing both.

Sorry you did say in your 1st post it was the official one you had gotten.

Where was your gen 3 from? Do you have a link as couldn't find it under the seller you mention 'Freedomoclock'

My Gen 3 has holes on the sides to remove links so it could be your Gen 3 is made from heavier material.

How is the colour match on the Gen 3 to the official?

Is yours black or silver?
