Yay I made the thread move not that it is particularly good the way it's moving I wish we were all saying we got tracking numbers but at least I don't feel like the only one that is still wating #
Yeah I personally kind of wish they waited to release the Plus as was rumored. It's just silly for people who stayed up late to order on launch day to be left out in the cold like this.
This is my first post, I've watched this thread go from outraged/irate to indignant to despondent with crickets chirping in the background. Looks like we are the final holdovers...the remaining few who ordered 128 models (mine is gold, ordered at 2:50 CDT with email at 2:55, 1912 order number, stuck in 10/2-10/13 limbo). I started out pretty patient, it's watching premier members be prioritized over the rest of us peons and now the worldwide release of my iPhone into the hands of those waaaaaaay behind me in the queue that have simple ruined this entire process for me, because there's always been something exciting about staying up until 2 (in my case), ordering your iPhone, and anticipating its arrival when you finally open the box and see your new phone before the vast majority of the world gets so close a look, there was a reward there, a magic, and that's just gone thanks to this release! I wonder if AT&T, or more importantly, Apple, even think about this? I'm sure not, or else it would have been handled differently.
Sums it up exactly. You was able to get your order in a little while before me, mine was 3:24AM CDT also a + 125 Gold & I immediately got my conf email at 3:25AM. My order # started with 1626.
This was the first, and last, time I entered the preorder world. AT&T handled the preorders badly but I also think Apple opened 3 hours late on purpose knowing there was going to be a shortage. Just my take.
Yes us 128ers must be the last to be filled in the original 10/2-10/13 delivery slot. I began reading this and its many spin-offs when it was all AT&T pre-orders, then only AT&T Plus orders, then only AT&T non-premier Plus orders, and it's basically winked out with the exception of 128 models in gold and SG, I have to believe our time is coming early this week because AT&T appears to have filled all other orders in these dates minus those lucky enough to track a Plus in a store or those who cut off their nose to spite their face and cancelled their pre-order without a backup plan in place, I'm not THAT indignant! Lol

AT&T, I played by your rules. I've been a faithful customer for over 20 years.(back when the Motorola Star Tac was the bomb!) I don't get any special discounts. I pay FULL price. I didn't even know that you had "premiere" customers. Why don't you care about my business. Why can't I have my phone? The conspiracy is REAL!#

At&T obviously dropped the ball on not putting the early request out for shipping first, the entire time before i got my shipping confirmation i kept getting the runaround on the phone and through CSR on chat. Hopefully everyone who got their orders in when the launch first started will get confirmations tomorrow because the fact that they are pretty much taking til almost Oct 2nd to complete the really early pre orders is totally unfair to everyone who stayed up to preorder before so many of the people who already received phones. Never preordering with At&t ever again!
