NOT getting notified about “Special” Apple Watch Challenges

Got my Heart Month challenge as well. Didn’t show up at first. I had to shut down my AW, and restart.

My conclusion is if you see a challenge, it is possible to get it. If you don’t even see it when a challenge is up, you won’t get it at all.

Just like I NEVER see the yearly Thanksgiving challenge, so I’ve never got it.

If you do a challenge even if you didn't get a notification, you'll get the badge. I usually find out about these challenges from MacRumors, then do the challenge to get the badge.

But I did. I try to do a challenge even when it wasn’t even on my AW. Complete it, but still no badge. Then I shut down and restart, and still nothing. Happens every single Thanksgiving! So frustrating!

I think everyone’s badge problem is different.

Well, this year, there was no Thanksgiving badge at all. ?

I'm sorry to hear you've never gotten a Thanksgiving badge, though. You are in the US? I've heard that the Thanksgiving badge may be available only in the US, but that's never been quite clear.

Did anyone get the Earth day challenge notification on their Apple Watch yet? I see it in my fitness app but didn't get notified on my watch.

I haven’t gotten the notification on the watch yet, but for me, they always come the day before so I expect to see it when I wake up tomorrow morning by.
 
I didn't get notified about either upcoming achievement, Not on my 13 Pro nor on my Apple Watch but thanks to this thread i know about the 2 upcoming challenges.

I got it a 12am 4/21/22, had I not been up I would have certainly missed it.

I think that I didn't get notification but I noticed that it was in awards earlier this week.
 
I got the notification about it a few days ago, but it's not unlocking today. Apple Health does show the 34-minute Outdoor Workout I completed, but the challenge itself remains dark (granted, it was not particularly vigorous, but then again...). It's a little odd, as usually these special-day ones unlock immediately after finishing the workout.
 
^ I got this notification this morning. I didn't even know there was a Dance workout option. I'll probably pass on that badge lol.
