I say this because Apple is known for changing colors so that people can tell you have a newer model, think iPods and the gold and space gray iPhone 5s. Also, I recall a footnote on the iPhone 5c's website saying that colors might change.
They changed the colour of the iPods to match the iPhones and the space gray was there to fix the scratching issue with the slate colour on the 5. Apple has released the MacBook Pro/PowerBook for the past 10 years without changing the colour of the material. Why in the good hell would Apple disclose that they would change the colour options in the future in a footnote? That's the most unapple thing I've heard all day.

I'm not lying, why would I? I would show you the link where they stated that the colors may be updated over time, but they don't have the iPhone 5c page since the iPhone 6 was released (hopefully somebody else that saw the footnote backs me up on this, though I doubt anyone else bothers to read them). And they aren't disclosing that they will change the color, only that they MAY change them. Do you really think that Apple would continue selling a yellow iPhone knowing that it is the least-selliing color, just like the yellow iPod touch 5th generation?

OH PLEASE! (and please let it actually just be a 6S in 4 inches or even a 5S with new internals)

to me that is more likely than the plastic C series. too many folks based it to death over the looks. I think a 6S Small/Medium/Large set up is more likely. all basically the same shape but in the same basic sizes as the 5S, 6 and 6+

I have my fingers crossed. I'd much prefer a metal phone to the 5C if I had the choice :p

I've noticed a lot of retailers are out of the 5S which makes me wonder if they are releasing a new C or something.
I might buy the 5S if they don't release a new 4" and it seems only Apple in Australia has stock.

I wish I had the money to buy a 5S.... I would have stuck it out longer with my 4 then bought a 5S earlier this year if I'd know, but instead I bought a 5 in April of last year (second hand).

Why is everyone assuming it will be a 4" phone? My guess is that again instead of still offering the 6/Plus they will just launch a remodeled 6 with a plastic rear shell, still 4.7". With a nice design i think they would sell very well, while still enough people would buy the "premium" 6S.

Sadly Mark Gurman is now reporting no 4" 6C - just the 5s hanging around.

I wish they'd at least update the 5s w/ NFC for Apple Pay.
