4,500mAh battery
USB-C
50 Megapixel and 16 Megapixel Selfie Camera

All for 399 bucks. Yeah ... nothing special at all LOL my 1,299 EUR iPhone does not do any of it.

Real World: This looks great with some nice things no one has previously thought of
Macrumors: THIS SUCKS
I am in agreement except…you think USBC is a special feature? That’s the phone interface. It’s like getting excited about Bluetooth or wifi.

The small hole for the camera or a much-wider notch? Cuss and discuss, people...
This camera is too small and may seem like an incomprehensible point, and it is on the side, which can be annoying when looking at the display for a long time. A person has two eyes and likes symmetry.

Random thought about the led lights. What happens if you drop it and damage one of them? This seems like an extremely fragile point of failure just waiting to happen.

It's been about a decade now since Apple released a phone that looked better than this.
Too bad I don't like Android.

Gives a new meaning to “in the future, you will own nothing and you will be happy”.

What would catch my attention in the Android world is...
- Vanilla Android Install
- Guaranteed five years of latest OS
- OS releases within one month of Google
- Online storefront selling OEM batteries, repair parts and tools

I would rather use a Palm Vx, Nokia 3300 and Game Boy Classic that use that ugly Nothing phone.

Look at these beauties…

This is the first phone I've seen, other than iPhone that has good bezels (Not thin, good). The notch allows the bezels to be the same width all the way around the phone. Some how all android phones, can't figure out how much of a difference that makes. The only issue with the cut out on the Nothing phone is that its not centered on the radius of the corner, They should have centered it in the top middle of the phone.

Gigantic non-pocketable size, no headphone jack, no microsd card slot, no easy way of replacing battery.

NO THANKS.

This looks cool. I love seeing someone do truly bold innovation with smartphones. It would take a lot to get me to switch from an iPhone, but I like the direction this phone is going. Hope they are successful. Apple needs to be pressured.

For $399 it looks amazing. Specs are great. Software updates will probably stop after few years but I mean, look at the price. Cameras of course won't be nearly as good as on iPhone but again it doesn't cost over $1000. I wouldn't mind buying it.

“the device has a modest starting price of £399 ($475).”

Does look good doesn't it? $399 for all that isn't just good value it's a stand out feature list. Should Apple be worried? no of course not. But it does provide a great phone at an incredible price point for Android users. I think it looks neat too.

May still be good at $475, but pounds ≠ dollars!

I agree with you. There’s a lot of value here with top end displays and mid range CPU. 5G. I like it. I mean they’re not targeting iPhone users and they’re not really even releasing it in most developed nations. It’s a premium phone for people who can afford $450 of premium.

I think the glyphs are interesting. I think that Apple could take note and just put a smaller display on the back of the iPhone that gives simple information about calls and allows FaceTime via the back of the iPhone cameras. This would allow us to get rid of the hideous notch. I would happily have the fingerprint scanner in the power button like this phone and the iPad Air/mini have.

Lots to like for 1/3 to 1/2 the price of an iPhone.

Nothing revolutionary about how this phone is spec’d—-nearly identical to the upcoming Pixel 6a at roughly the same price but instead of a good camera system, you get flashing lights on the back panel. The back panel is a gimmick at best.
