The article states it has up to 2 days of power on a single charge. Compare that to the iPhone battery life measured in hours.
My iPhone 13 Pro battery lasts about 48 hours if I have light to moderate usage, especially if I'm not using it in a bright room or outside. That means iPhone batteries can also last “up to 2 days”. It could even last longer with just audio usage.

You are correct though that iPhone battery life is measured in hours. I’ve seen more than 48 hours, which is measuring battery charge in hours.

By the way, one minute of battery life is also included in the set of “up to 2 days”. A statement like "up to 2 days" doesn’t mean much without actual independent test data.

I honestly can barely tell between 60hz and 120hz so I dont care, plus I think people whine about it way too much but I do care that apple can charge 1k CAD for a device with only a 60hz screen.

60hz or 8gb ram on a 1000 CAD device should be cRiminal.
You can’t tell difference between 60hz and 120hz? Dude do you live your life in 60hz by chance?

For shame the iPhone’s design language is aging badly, much like the previous gen iMac before Cook was bold enough to update it.
Mature products dont need massive design tweaks each update.
Some people still like the old MacAir design and would love the wedge back.

If rumours of the Homepod with screen stack up, a G4 hub with speaker and arm to mount/charge an iOS device would be both retro and future... ;)

Apple's material choices are as much brand as the shapes.

Not sure why many are saying the lack of NFC is a a let down. I sometimes feel like I’m the only one in my city that taps with their iPhone. It seems the vast majority still prefer to tap with their chip cards.
LOL - Just went through that entire thought process over my morning coffee. "No NFC might be a hinderance!" straight on through to, "Oh yeah, I tap my cards anyway, and every time I use my mobile phone it's more cumbersome, not less."

Is it modular in the sense of only changing appearance, or can you actually replace or upgrade hardware components? Could you put in a better CPU or camera? Can the screen be easily replaced with something better? Or is this just surface modularity?
It's the backplate ONLY. The rest is fixed and not easily replaced by a layman. Also: not dust nor waterproof in any significant manner.

My last 3 iPhones including my 15 Pro Max last all day with 30% or so left at the end of the day. So no NOT hours.

Because I prefer to use debit card than credit card.

Its cheap for a reason, don't expect long support or fast releases when it comes to security and bugfixes.
Nothing is a cool brand with nice gadgets, but the are always behind Samsung and Pixel when it comes updates.

Still parrotting 5 year old talking points I see.

I wonder if this will take off or fail spectacularly like Jolla's "the other side" concept from a decade ago. I loved the idea and vision behind the phone but unfortunately it was a total flop and became a useless brick after the android emulator broke. And the only other sides that were made were different coloured back covers that changed your phone's theme colour. Yay.

No nfc, strike 1. Glued battery strike 2. No freq list (it would help to know if it actually works here US) strike 3.
My iphone 13 pro lasts about 1.5 days. Not hours.

£209 for a phone that has a 120hz 6.7" OLED display?

Why bother with that when you can have 60hz super retina ABCDXYZ extreme XDR edition for "only" £799 (iPhone 15 Plus).

In all seriousness though, while I prefer Pixel to Nothing, the Nothing devices are essentially Apple hardware design with some modern twists. They're excellent devices, and the highest end model is basically a £500 iPhone 15 Pro Max in all but name.

Ditching NFC for this CMF Phone though is ludicrous in the age of Apple/Google Pay, and means this device is dead in the water for a significant majority of people.

Nothing to see here.
Nothing. Haha.

if I wanted an Android phone I would go back to POCO. My last Android before my iPhone was a POCO X3 Pro. Loved it, my first phone with NFC
