Well you need either the statusbar notification plugin and there is also notification bar.

Also another 3rd one not made by the same guys is this GRIP one called i guess..

But I think the email support only works with statusbar notification and notification bar.

Do you see Mail options in the Nofied APP under Settings - Manage Alerts?

Yes I do see the mail option and I can see mail in the drop down but its the mail icon I dont see. I just see the ! push notification. Tried downloading statusbar notifications and I'm getting HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden error in cydia

did anyone noticed or experienced issues with push email if you had multiple plugins installed at the same time.

i uninstalled status and notificationbar and only keeping it grip for now.

Do you have it set to LOG email notification in the notified settings?

i think that 403 error comes when you try to download from modmyi repo..

Okay, I bought NotifiedPro and it works somewhat. I get the notification at the bottom but at the same time I keep getting the original Apple notification window. How to disable that?

You have to disable that in settings

That's not true, you have to keep notifications on in settings or else nothing will show. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but after i installed notified pro, I dint do annoying and it did all the work. Now i get my battery phone, email all on notified and don't get any apple popup notifications.

Thanks

The only thing I noticed was that if you disable all stock notifications through Notified, some of your stock alert sounds seem to go too. In other words, I left my calendar alerts alone because I wasn't getting the alert sound to let me know of an upcoming appointment. Just something to keep in mind until that's fixed.

Anyone else have the same issues? If I disable the stock calendar notification I get no sound when a calendar event triggers, even with the grip plugin.

Goto manage alerts and only select log notifications, this will disable apple push notifications and you will be alerted by notified pro and the plugin you have installed.

I installed and it was working, but like I said before I was still getting the Apple notifications too. So I uninstalled, rebooted the iphone, and then installed again and now I'm not getting the NotifiedPro notifications at all, just the Apple ones.

I give up on this app until someone can explain it to me. This app is scwewy, as Elmer Fudd would say.

Make sure under Manage Alerts.. if you go into the individual notifications.. UNCHECK Show in Lockscreen and Show in Springboard.

Just CHECK Log Notifications.

This should get rid of the stock apple pop ups..

Yes I do have it set. So where else can I download statusbar?

Check your pm.

Yeah, I've tried that and it works for everything but calendar events. I get the visual notifications but no sound. I also have notifier and lockinfo installed, maybe one of those are causing conflicts. So you guys are getting sound notifications for calendar events in addition to the visual notifications when you disable the stock calendar notification?

New version 1.4.1 out mainly to report bugs.. following on twitter:

After installing Notified 1.4.1 (just submitted), please install Crash Reporter and to help us find the Mail bug. Thanks!

I just noticed the mail bug.

Red badge in SB

I downloaded Notified just to try it out before purchasing the Pro version and decided I didn't like it. So I deleted the app. But I am still getting the red notifier badges in the status bar. Anyone know how to get rid of these?

After using the GriP plugin since it came out I'm really liking this one the best out of all the plugins available right now.

My only wish is that I could change the color of the time stamp (why Blue??). I dont know why the dev didn't just use white.

Finally, any news on an ETA?

no idea. I believe its that guy that designing the look of the icons that holding this shiat back... If he would alrdy chop some stuff up in photoshop and get it over with

downloaded the new version, besides fixing the bugs, anyone noticed anything different?

Hi,

I just downloaded the update, I noticed that with the new version i avoided a crash. The crash always happened when I go into Manage Alerts -> mail then click "done". Even without doing anything in that section, clicking done would crash notified. the new version seems to fix that. I dont have any crashing issue.

Now my only problem is getting bitesms to work with notified pro. I dont get any log notifications from bitesms. That only happens if I set bitesms as my default app, if its not, the notifications work normally.

Thanks
