Oh I'll check out that statusbar notifications. I do like the Notification bar more though. I noticed that even I "x" the notification bar, I still need to slide down the dropdown log and back up to get rid of that "notification icon" on the status bar.

Edit: So I installed the statusbar notification for notified through cydia but @notifiedpro on twitter said to take a dylib file and place it somewhere? WTH? I don't know where, can anyone guide me? I'm comfortable with SSH'ing into my phone and can get to the location if told where to go.

just use grip notification, more features and the update in works is going to be much better with many customizable options.

I installed grip but for some reason it looked ugly. The rendering around the notification bar is not proper. It looks like its shifted up a little.

EDIT: Just installed statusbar update and replaced the dylib file as instructed, but ill still try that "Notification GRip" just to see if it works now.

just installed the new status bar update and now i get a notification it shows the "From": but not the "subject beside it. WTH happened now :(

that dylib is bad, isnt it?

EDIT: NVM works now, respring solves EVERYTHING :)

I think you should remove every single thing that relates to Notified from your phone, and go in manual using SSH and remove everything. And then start from scratch installing stuff again.. Lol seems like you some funky stuff going on

LOl I thought so too but it seems to work perfectly now. I'm sticking with Notification Grip though. I like it more.

How can I get just the status bar notifications? That's the only thing I ever wanted

I installed it and it shows From: the complete subject scrolling. But I have to tap on it first then slide to bring up notifiedpro. Also the scrolling back to the start is a little too fast.

just kidding, I wanted to be an ass like those geeky losers that give everyone sarcastic comments for no reason. Anyways so you have notified pro installed? Just go into cydia and type Statusbar notification for notified and install that. For some reason you also need to SSH into your phone go to a location and replace a dylib file that you can download on @notifiedpro twitter page.

I don't want the app tho, I just want notification bar. I currently deleted the app, what do I need to do in order to get just the notification bar?

You cant just have the notification bar.. you need the APP as the notification is just a plugin for it..
 
does this app override apples Blue notifications? and if I don't like it, will it uninstall smoothly. I have since kept my jailbreak clean aside from mywi.. I don't want things to be all laggy!

Hey yes I did, thanks for asking. I posted what I did on the other thread but For some reason i posted it during a period of time yesterday when the MacRumor's server was screwing up, so now the post disappeared.

Anyways I downloaded the files from a poster on that thread. and I SSH'd them to the right location, for some reason they didn't have the @2x by default, so I thought it was normal that it didn't. After someone told me to try it, I did and it worked.

Then I saw that it was a little too small. The original size was 80x20 pixels, so I decided to try to make it larger by multiplying it by a constant number. I tried 1.5, so my final size was 120x30 and that looks perfect. I compared it with a screenshot of the original logo and the two are perfectly in the same location. I'm very happy with the outcome.
