My mail kept on crashing - especially when emptying my Exchange trash bin! Sometimes the home key didn't work too. Sadly, I had stop using Notified Pro. However, I thought I restore my phone and jailbreak with Greenpois0n (previously used Limera1n).

Been using Notified Pro for the last 24 hours and not one problem! Maybe it was the restore or Greenpois0n that solved the problem, but I'm happy customer using this great Cydia app now!

The way to solve the mail crash issue is to remove Notifiedpro and reinstall it. Thats how I solved it the first time. Then there was a notifiedpro update. I updated, and mail app started crashing again. Removed and installed notifiedpro, and mail is working fine.

The mail crashes when more than one email comes in. It gets confused as to how many there are and crashes. Easier solution is to just read the new emails on your computer (anywhere but your iPhone) .... The mail app will run smoothly once you read the problematic email

Forget what I said...

The same problem has reared it's ugly head! My theory about restoring and Greenpois0n was rubbish! Reinstalled Notified Pro and still crashing the mail application. Has anyone got the similar problem when emptying an Exchange bin?

A couple of questions:

Firstly, is there any way to move the GRIP notifications down so that when on the lockscreen they don't cover the time and date?

Second - I notice everyone's GRIP notifications are larger (deeper) than mine. Is that because of the custom icons?
If that is the case, can anyone make an icon for Facebook and Notifo? My photoshop skills aren't what they ought to be!

:)

Thanks!

goody good it works!

for the icons, I posted a link to those icons a few posts up...the really long one with huge images :)!

as for the background, you can just whip out your PS and edit User/Library/Ngrip/background@2x.png to your liking!!! unless you want mine then i will upload it later tonight.

Does that also make the message area the larger size you have? Mine is much smaller. (edit: looking again, maybe they aren't!)

Also, I can't get the icons to work either.

Copied the files across again and it's fine now. Not sure what was going on there!

Any chance you can knock a set of Notifo scone together? I've made some basic ones but I'm no Photoshop expert :). Mine has a horrible white background.

Cheers :)

something simple for notifo
Untitled-2.jpg

the images are named roughly as i do not know the correct bundle handler for notifo...so you just go renamed it again...Notifo@2x or something, and Silver_blah and Black_blah...

Does anyone here know where exactly I can find the Notified Pro plug-in called Statusbar Notifications? I've searched cydia and I've got nothing, it's driving me mad plz help...

I've been a long time user of LockInfo, and recently started using Notified Pro and the grip notifications. I still want to use LockInfo on my lockscreen but does anyone know a way to hide the grip notification on the lockscreen?

It should show up in cydia. Search "notified"?

This would be great. I don't think it's possible at the moment however.

Sadly, I had to stop using this because of mail crashes... Hoping another update will come soon. I should've never upgraded to this recent version because I never had a problem with it before.

I believe all you have to do is tap the gear in the upper right corner, then go to Manage Alerts, and uncheck all the Show in Lockscreen options.

I did that, and it at least still shows emails, not sure about anything else.

thanks for the reply :) I searched as you said and I still couldn't find it. A few months back I was able to find it no problem, maybe it has something to do with the cydia repo myrepospace that has been causing errors on refresh..

Given up...

Me too. My mail crashes frequently and reinstalling it to get around this is starting to be a real pain!

I got Mail crashing when I first got NotifiedPro installed. Then after digging in the forum someone mentioned disable mail logging in the settings would stop the crashing. And it works!

What's the point in that? Wouldn't mail logging be the reason you wanted it? I want to be notified when I get an email and do a quick check of who its from.
