I know it sucks but after a conversation with the dev you have two choices. Now that he split the Mail notifications into its own dylib, you can disable that in SBSettings. You will still get the statusbar icon for mail, but it won't log. Or you can just deal with the crashes. Disabling the dylib for Mail will leave everything else alone. At least the dev knows about it and is working on a fix.

Words With Friends

Can somebody make an icon set for Words With Friends alerts?

Here's the app icon .png file:

Thank you.

I'm giving this app another shot (even with mail problems).

I use the Grip plugin and had various app icons moved to the Notified.app folder for it to show the icons in the popups. This worked great with the last version. But now after installing it again all notifications are showing the generic "!" icon. I can see all the icon.png files in iFile so why isnt it working like it did before?

I also recently added a Google Voice icon as well using the same steps I used to do before(naming the icon same as the popup and placing the file in Notified.app folder) and it still wont work.

Is there any updates for this app coming? I love it, but it's got a lot of bugs still.

I'm hoping it eventually displays the proper app icon like Grip did when you get notifications instead of just a generic exclamation point.

Fixed my own problem. I delete the app from Cydia, then with iFile, manually delete the Notified.app folder containing all the png files. Reinstalled Notified app, then had to search for the (new)location of the Notified.app (for whatever reason it was not the same path) folder and copy the icons in the folder. Now I have my icons showing on the GriP notifications.

Figured it out myself. Had to go in NotifiedPro settings and Disabled show in lockscreen/homescreen.

Also for the mail crashing bug, I worked around it my disabling mail logging and installing a mail pushing app (GPush for me). I then redirected the GPush to the Apple's stock mail app in NotifiedPro settings. Pretty sloppy workaround, but I like NotifiedPro too much to uninstall it.

Just hit a snag with Notified Pro. For some reason, the email notifications have stopped. Twitter and calendar items show in the app, and via Notification GriP as usual still, but none of my email accounts do. I've deleted one email account and set it up again as a test, but no luck. Has anyone seen this happen?

Did you update to the newest version? If so, you need to find Notified Mail beta in Cydia and install that as well.

Does anyone know of a way to get the badge on the SMS icon to clear without having to actually go into the Messages app? I want to pull down the shade, read the newly-arrived text message, and be done with it.

It is incredibly frustrating that it feels like this app has regressed since I've purchased it. What is the status of the mail bug? I turned off mail notifications for a while, and then tried the new "mail plugin" when I heard about it here, but was still getting the same mail.app crashes and challenges as before.

Is there a better place to track updates from the guys than here? They used to be great at updating the twitter account (and the app in general), but as of late, it doesn't feel like they're nearly as responsive as they once were.

No Shade on Notified Pro

Major Noob here....I apologize for posting a potentially very easy question to answer but I can't seem to get the Notified Pro overlay to function. I set it up in Activator but when I double tap on the status bar it just launches the Notified Pro App and not the overlay window or "drop down" Is there a necessary plug-in that I need to install?

You are assigning the application in activator. Instead assign the notified toggle which is at the top of the list when you're in activator.
