Nov 6 Deliveries - UPS Real-Time Flight Tracking

It’s in Kentucky now with a departure scan and I have no doubt it’s getting here tomorrow as scheduled. 2 days earlier than Apple quoted me. :) happy camper. Although I’m not too worried bc I’ve been using the ATT next model I got on launch day. My mom is taking this one as her upgrade when I get my Apple one LOL.

I think we’re in the clear, too. No flights from DFW to OKC so mine will likely come by ground tonight. Can’t wait to pick it up at CC at 8:00 a.m. tomorrow! Kinda relieved to not have any more flights to track. Lol

Mine went from ANC to Louisville to Albuquerque then either a truck or another flight to deliver in Phoenix tomorrow. I’ll pick up from a UPS Store hopefully early Tuesday. For some reason it wouldn’t let me hold at a hub, only deliver to a UPS Store.

Legend of Zelda Symphony tomorrow night so no time to restore backup to a new phone, but it’s on, Tuesday! :)

Yeeeee Yeeeeee Yeeee. It's happening... Glad I had the patience to wait it out. I will be stopping all traffic and directing the UPS vehicle into my complex without delay. Nice to see my electronic child delivered home to Denver.

Hours - I am a digital game hoarder haha. :D

Hoping to pick it up Tuesday morning and let it restore/reinstall all the things for a few hours. If I didn’t want to lose my health/Apple Watch data I’d just set up as new, but I have too many workouts and game saves I’d like to keep.

Last year I tried to restore through the cloud and ended up stopping it when it appeared that I had everything because it was taking forever (as I recall it still wasn’t done after restoring all night). This year I was going to restore through (encrypted) iTunes as I heard that was much faster. Your thoughts?

There’s no way I won’t get it tomorrow. It’s already here! Haha. Have fun unboxing tomorrow y’all! I swear it’s the best phone Apple has made yet. Be patient with the FaceID tho..sometimes it takes me two tries :( but other than that it’s been great. Oh..and adjusting to the size of the keyboard as opposed to the keyboard on the iPhone 7 Plus lol.

The flight and scan times won't line up exactly (or even approximately LOL) but if you haven't seen this, it might give you an idea:

In the link, select the middle By Airport tab, the for airport type SDF, select Nov 5, then time period 1200-1800, and optionally airline UPS (5X) UPS

I restore via iTunes and it really doesn't take too long - I think my lengthy restore time has to do with all the 2-3gb apps/games I'm reinstalling. :) If you don't have game saves or health/workout data though, it's always nice to do a clean install - seems like everything runs a little less buggy that way.

Yes! Went to one during San Diego Comicon I think two years ago and it was fantastic! Looking forward to this one here in Phoenix - they've added new Breath of the Wild scores I think, that that'll be neat to see/listen to. They put a huge screen up and show game footage during the symphony - it's a wonderful show.

My 4:20 PM departure from Louisville went to Long Beach, CA arrive 6:01 PM. Everything is different this past week. Almost always things go to Ontario, but not this time.

My last tracking update was a departure scan in Louisville at 3:19 pm on 11/4, so over 24 hours since the last update.

I’m not too worried as it’s out of my control, but I hope it actually is here in Houston and will be available for pickup tomorrow morning at my local UPS CC.

Update: Just got departure scan out of DFW. 3 hour drive from DFW to OKC. Hope I see arrival scan before bedtime, but I’m fading fast and gotta get up early to be at CC by 8:00 a.m.

First time picking up iPhone at CC. I just need photo ID, right?

Yes, an ID with the same name as the package.

Mine is in Louisville and my delivery is supposed to be between 10:45 and 2:45. But I am leaving at 9. When I tried to change the delivery, hoping I could pick it up early, I got a message that that option was unavailable. Is there anything I can do?
