Question for those holding at a UPS CC. Scheduled for 11/6 Delivery, so if I put a hold on, can I just go in at 8am and pick up the phone?
When I bought my iPhone 6s, I had to wait until 8:20 or so (I remember that there is a status in UPS saying that you can go pick the item up).
Mine made it to Louisville. Since I’m in Ohio it looks good for delivery tomorrow as scheduled.
That's a coincidence. Gardena is also my local office. I find more often it flies to Ontario but from Ontario to Gardena is pretty quick.On a lighter note. Anybody picked up a case already? Figured I’d give the refresh button a break (lol) & browse cases. I already ordered a Spigen but I’m looking at other options.

I’m in CA also.. for me it’s Louisville to Los Angeles - on to my local CC in Gardena -then to my hands
As for cases, I'm pretty boring and got the Silicone case - good protection and not too bulky. - Ordered it and have it. Also ordered the Belkin InvisiGlass Ultra Screen Protection and have it too. I'm not good at putting them on, and they told me at the Manhattan Village store on Thursday that they were expecting the machine to install them to arrive Friday. So my plan is to have them do it.

I ordered one of Apple’s leather cases from my local store on Friday along with a new watch band and used the excuse to go check out the iPhone X. I’ve used the leather case on my last 2 phones and I’ve been happy with them and like knowing what to expect.

I still need to decide on a “wireless” charger...
I put in the request to pick up at the local cc yesterday but it’s still showing as requested if I show up tomorrow do you think it’ll be ok? Or should I wait for that text or email confirming? I assume with the weekend It’ll just sit as requested or is it because it’s still sitting in Louisville?
I like them. I recently bought Parrots. Impulse buy at ATL Airport. Very good sound. Great design. Cool app. But horrible battery life. So got these. 19 hours battery life. I also have Beats wired and wireless Studio headphones which I like a lot. Wireless Beats ear cushions show wear easily though. Which is why I was looking for another pair.
These don’t have noise cancelling do they? You mentioned the airport impulse buy...
Also, be warned the H4s do not come with carrying case. Found inexpensive one on Amazon though. It’ll also arrive tomorrow.

Got the SDF arrival but mine still showing “rescheduled delivery 11/7/2017”. I’ll bet these cheap bas**rds are taking it ground to my Virginia city instead of flying it tonight. So getting one last shaft by UPS...
Although not as bad as when a UPS employee stole my wife’s Apple Watch in 2015 right after it reached the local distribution center. Apple had to send another one and we pressed charges with the police

UPS doesn’t deliver to my house until about 6:30/7:00pm so we always pick up.
My husband did his hold request Thursday morning & picked up Friday morning.
Lol yea chargers will be my next search.. Right now I’m leaning towards the Mophie since the charging pad isn’t out yet. I ordered a Sahara Case crystal clear that I’ve had for a week. Wanted something slim and clear and it fit the bill for me. Saw and felt one in person from a friend who uses it for his 8 Plus. It comes with a glass screen protector but I’m horrible when it comes to installing those. I plan to just go to the Apple Store and have them install a Belkin one with their fancy machine, like they did with my 7 Plus.
It should all be a very convenient afternoon for me tomorrow. I have some errands to do, and my UPS customer facility, the Apple Store, Target, grocery store, and credit union are all within a couple miles or so of each other Now if only they built a Costco there...

I too am looking into wireless chargers but I first need to see if one would even be needed for me. I already have a charging stand that holds both my watch and current iPhone, and an established routine for where and when I charge them. Sure the wireless ones aren’t expensive, but would I even find it necessary, that’s what I plan to figure out after I start using the X.

If I request a delivery change to the UPS store about a mile from my house, will it add a day to the delivery of my phone or will it show up the same day -- just a different location?
If you pick a store it’ll likely add a day. If you pick a hub(customer center) it’ll usually be the same day.
