That’s really interesting— I know the X has BT5 but those phones don’t have BT5... I wonder if there’s something else under the hood that would cause that. What codec is it using?

Well my case just arrived from Amazon! Now I just need the phone! I'm excited about the smaller size - I never could get a great grip on the plus models for using the one-handed.
Anyone know what I need to do get all my 7+ photos back on my X? That seems to be only thing that’s missing.
are you restoring from an iCloud backup? If so they take a while to show up and your battery will drain real quick while it does the restore.
Do you have iCloud storage to upload your photos to? (There's an option to back up your photos to iCloud, just have to have enough storage). Otherwise... if you're using a Mac, the photos app perhaps?
I'm like you-- usually do a local encrypted backup/restore to keep messages, photos and passwords intact.

Okay. Thanks! I noticed that even though I had it charging, it was charging slowly. I have like 7000 pics. Lol. I have to leave in a couple hours. If I leave, will it just finish when I’m home and reconnected to Wi-Fi?

I got a link to follow my delivery earlier, and I can see that the driver has been circling around me for the last two hours now bypassing me the whole time. He’s missed the two hour delivery window that I paid for on mine and my wife’s phones by 40 minutes now. After they are delivered I’m going to have to call UPS to dispute the charges. Half way tempted to go out there and find the driver to get our phones.
My wife signed for my delivery around 12:10pm EST. Can’t wait until I get home tonight. This is going to be the longest workday everrrrr!

So UPS, who gave us a 3:30-7:30 delivery time and then came this morning when we were both out. Super annoying, but I arranged to pick them up tonight. Oh well. At least we can get them today.

I guess after today the specific subject of the thread will be history, but it is kind of sad to lose close contact with all who were active. Maybe if there were a Nov 6 Club it might have more of a continuing purpose.

We can always compare notes on accessories, etc! Right now I feel like I need a bubble wrap case. The case I have on here feels woefully inadequate although I am sure it is fine. I'm scared to death of dropping this thing!

I'm currently using a Verizon 7+... will Apple actually let you just swap out one phone for another? Is exchanging different enough from the initial purchase that they don't require you to activate the new phone on the carrier it's meant for?
I had to activate my 7+ on Verizon before I could move it over to my primary T-Mobile account.
