The Camera/video upgrade is very nice on the 5S. That alone has my interest. Touch ID seems very convenient as well. I'll have to marinate on it for a week.

Well I will be buying the 5s 64gb as I've bought every iPhone to date. Call it a ritual if you'd like. Ill also be buying the note 3, nexus 5 (if it lives up to what I want out of a nexus) and the htc one max (unless it only comes to sprint) :)

Someone makes too much money

Upgrading from 4S to the 32GB 5C. The $200 tag (plus cost of a couple cases) is attractive. I'll upgrade with a new contract. I preferred the screensize of the 4S but I don't want to lag too far behind the curve, and yet I don't need the power of the 5S with its A7. So, the 5C is for me. It provides plenty of innovation coming from the 4S.

Thinking take the white one with a green case and a pink case to switch out to once in awhile. Or just get a green or yellow one and skip the cases, get a sleeve from Waterfield again. But I like those dotty cases a lot. They seem a wonderfully un-serious break from the austerity of some of my past iPhones, especially the 3GS. Even the white iPhone 4S with its green bumper sort of spoke to subtlety and decorum. Well my 5C is going to say "Yo, lighten up." :)

Honestly, I like the look of the 5C but im worried that it will age quickly. I'm tempted to preorder it-(on a side note, in canada, can you preorder for a subsidized price on say telus through the apple store, or is that option only avail in the states?) I currently have a 4S and the battery is dying so quickly now. I don't really like the color options of the 5S and id rather have some durability over sheer speed. I hope the 5C's life isnt cut short by its outdated internals like apple has done previously. What do you guys think?

While I love the fingerprint sensor and the potential it has, I'm keeping my 5 and waiting on the 6. While the improvements are pretty substantial there's not enough there to justify the cost of going 5-5s for me and my pocketbook.(M7 is getting awefully overlooked) I imagine next year we are going to have one of the biggest updates yet.

You took the words out of my mouth

Skip the 5S. A larger screened iPhone has to be coming next year. I'd be shocked if it didn't.

I think you are right about a larger screen coming next year. Early this year there was a rumor about iPhone Plus or iPhone Math. A rumor this month stated Apple was testing screen sizes of up to 6 inches. This would suggest they are starting work on the next generation or so.

For the record, I'm good with 4 inches but it doesn't hurt to offer choice. I just hope the apps don't suffer and we end up with android level fragmentation.

Well I was going to upgrade to the 5c but since its pretty much the same as the 5 and the 5 looks better I upgraded my phone and my fiancée's to a 5. I got black and she got white and honestly we couldn't be happier. Don't need all the features of the 5s.

You'd be surprised at the customers I've seen/sold phones to.

Did they openly state that it was their 4th phone they were getting? Lol. Not talking about replacements here. I know girls will drop their phone on the concrete once a month and have their dads pay for replacements.

I was planning on the 5C being as is but cheaper. Maybe $349-399. If so I would've got it.

Now I'm thinking either 5S or used 5
