Normally would've said naked. But my experience with Apple's leather case has been so good, that I might throw on a Midnight or Cosmos Blue on the X. For the first time, I felt the case improved the experience compared to going naked.

Apple saddle brown leather case.

Be wary the curse of the saddle brown case. My friend just picked up an SE, and this is my 7 Plus Saddle brown case that I've had for a year. Patina or not, it's not the same colour anymore. I'm not sure which I like more.

Naked, like the good lord (Jony) intended. :p

I hate cases and screen protectors, and I have a good track record of taking care of my phone. I will be buying insurance, though. I’m not an idiot!

That’s the beauty of real leather!

I ordered the Shock Tech clear case from Amazon early this morning after I was able to get the X ordered. But then changed my mind and canceled it and ordered the Taupe X case from Apple.

You're preaching to the choir. Here's my saddle brown case for my 7 Plus. I love the patina.

I am going with the Apple Blue Cobalt Silicone case (love the feel of the silicone cases,) however, I will rock it naked at times as well...mostly at first. Have a screen protector on my 7+, debating on if I want/need one for the X. If I do it will be the Belkin one you get at the Apple Store where they apply it with a machine so it goes on perfect, no bubbles and perfectly aligned...IF they fixed the issue where the screen protector does not go all the way to the edge of the screen.

Caseless with no screen protector. I have apple care+ and T-mobile insurance (it gives Apple care). I don't drop my phones and I don't like to ruin the design with a case. Screen protectors I do use sometimes but I have to see how curved the screen is for the X. I will still buy a case for nights I go to bars and clubs.

Loved the Apple leather case for the iPhone 6, which I have used since I got it three years ago. So I already ordered a saddle brown leather case for my iPhone X. Will also try to secure a reasonably priced glass screen protector before the 10th.

I always use my iPhone for two years with soft bumper and screen protector because I sell my two years old phone and seems like my iPhone always sells quickly because it’s mint condition.
As usual, bought cheap case and screen protector.
During two years of period, I have minor drop incident a few times and cheap case still offers decent protection.

Glass protector and slim hard shell case. I drop my iPhone all the time. Just yesterday, I took off my cracked glass protector and put on another.

$279 dollars to repair the screen without Applecare. $279 Dollars! How can anyone not go without a case or some level of protection.

Naked, been with my iPhone 7 Plus jet black since launch and it’s still good. No screen protector or case - Apple care takes care of me.

Always naked. Cases are bulky and ugly. Screen protectors ruin the feel.

I don’t like to hide such a sleek looking device.

And I don’t need to keep it perfectly beautiful for someone else to experience. I want to experience the beauty myself.

I've never used any phone naked but on the other hand have never dropped one either not even inadvertently but im still second guessing going case less with the x as it is all glass. Thinking about getting applecare+ to remedy some of my angst.
