Spigen new hybrid and tempered glass protector. Will see how it looks with the case fitted and decide then.

I ordered the black apple leather case today on a separate order.

Just need to find the right screen protector now...I'm being quite picky with the screen protector though, want one with edge to edge coverage and no huge cut out for the notch for a clean look.

Picked up a DBrand skin. Will probably put it in a clear TPU case until the newness wears off then I'll rock it with jus the skin.

I just ordered a Saddle Brown Apple leather case to go with my Space Gray X. My current iPhone 6 has survived 3 years with one of those on. So I'll do the same again :)

I prefer naked but I put an Otterbox case on my replacement iPhone 6 after my first one was damaged to a point that it was replaced by Apple Care. It doesn't look bad. Slim design and mostly clear in the back. It protects the phone but still shows what it looks like. I believe it's their Symmetry series clear case.

I don't know what I'm going to do with the new one. It's a beautiful phone that will be kind of rare for awhile. I want people to see what I paid over $1200 for! :)

Naked but with glass protectors on the front & back to try and reduce scratches/ risk of breaking device glass. Will be first iPhone without a case but I am purchasing insurance (not Apple care)

I’d love to use naked and have done so with my iPhones over the years but.... it’s just that they’re so damn expensive and I like to upgrade every year so, now, as I write this, my 7 plus is in perfect condition. What do you who use Naked do if you drop/scratch your expensive devise?

I included an Apple Leather Case and Leather Folio Case with my order on AT&T Premiere. Hopefully arrives on Nov 3rd with the iPhone X. Still need to get a screen protector. I like Moshi screen protectors. Need to see if they have one for the X yet.

Best screen protector I’ve ever had is the one I have on my 7 Plus now and that’s the Belkin one Apple fitted with their machine. Perfect fit.

I'm going with the Spigen Neo Hybrid case in jet black. I got my mom the Spigen Neo Hybrid case in gunmetal and the Spigen glass screen protector. I don't use screen protectors on my phones.

After spending nearly $1,200 on beautiful design and engineering, why would I want to spend $10 to undo all that?

Naked, absolutely.

I have had every iPhone (save the 6S) since the 3G, only ever had a case on the 6, because it was so slippery. Every other iPhone has been used naked.

My jet black 7 has some micro scratches on the back, but you have to really look for them. My 3GS had a couple of tiny scratches on the white plastic back back in the day.

Other than that I don’t remember much visible damage on any of my phones. I only ever had to get an AppleCare replacement because of a hardware issue (like the battery), not because of anything I did. I’ve never cracked my screen or worse. (*knock wood!*)

Until I enrolled in AT&T Next, I was always able to sell my year-old iPhones for a good price, sometimes to repeat customers.

Case for sure! Apple Silicon Case (black) is on order.

I'll occasionally pop it out of the case at home while on the couch to enjoy it caseless.

My current 7 Plus is in an Apple Leather Case. I'm pretty careful with my stuff, but life is fast-moving and it has slipped out of my hand several times and smacked the concrete or tile. The case fully protected it (and survived quite well itself, without a scratch on the phone). Without a case, my phone would have needed costly repairs several times by now (and/or it wouldn't have qualified for trade-in on the AT&T Next plan).

I went with silicon this time because the phones are now water resistant but a leather case is not (at all). Figured I might as well go water resistant on the whole package.
