i will get the 42 Stainless Steel, first with a black sports band and get an leather band and/or Milanese seperatly the next month

I really can't decide between 42mm Apple Watch SS with Milanese loop

Or

42mm Apple Watch Sport in Silver with White Sport Band and Milanese loop.

Heh thanks. Maybe I'll be able to buy the gen 2 *shrug

Good luck with the house! You can count on the rest of us here to keep this product viable for a few generations. When you have the money to spare, there should be a great new version of this ready for you.

My plan was always to get the 42mm SS with Milanese loop. After seeing the size guides though I've changed that to 38mm since it'll actually fit way better.

On the bright side, it's a lot cheaper than I expected, and the £40 saving with the 38mm is a welcome bonus. My wrist has spoken for me.

Why is it that everyone thinks treating stainless steel and shaping sapphire glass is a cheap thing to do? There's a reason the sport is cheaper you know.

Do you know how many stainless steel/sapphire glass watches there are out there under $549 ? The numbers are astronomical. It's way more common than you think.

Not saying it isn't common, but doing all this, and researching/manufacturing tech that doesn't currently exist to suit the specific purpose of Apple's watch vision adds up on the cost front.

None for me. I've most of the product range but the watch looks a dreadful waste of money. Far too expensive

Still ridiculous pricing. As cool as it is, it's not worth the money as far as I'm concerned. I rather spend $599 (the apple watch I would want would cost that) on a really nice REAL watch.

Can someone decide for me? I had my heart set on the modern buckle (blue, brown or pink) band, but cannot afford to go for the SS watch. So it will have to be a sport. I know that the SS finishing on the leather band (purchased separately obviously) is going to look a little odd, but will it look worse on an aluminium or a space grey sport? On its own, I like the look of the aluminium more, but worry that the closer similarity in colour will make the discrepancies stand out more. Anyone got any views? The leather loop is out of the question as I am a female with exceptionally small hands, so have to go for 38mm, no doubt about it.
Looking on the site where you can play around didn't really help at all, as they looked okay on there, but then it's just the one angle, so reflectiveness isn't really shown on the steel.
Thank you for any opinions!

Not buying. Never got the appeal of smart watches. To me they're useless. I already have an iPhone ... and a Rolex.
