Bought a Nudient v3 case (green) from my 12 Pro a few weeks ago and it fits like a glove. No issues at all.

Bought a Nudient v3 case (blue) for my 12 Mini and the damn thing won't let me charge my phone using the official Apple lighting to usb-c cable. The case appears to fit well but it seems the charging port cut out doesn't allow the lightning connector to fully go inside the charging port. Anyone else seeing this? Strangely i can charge using an Anker lightning to usb-c cable. But the apple cable isn't faulty or anything since it works fine with other iphones. I have emailed Nudient support but not sure if its a design issue or I've received a faulty case.

Anyone else seeing similar issues on their Iphone 12 mini?

I don't have any problem with mine. I've had their cases for a while, its the best. Have you checked that it is installed properly? The case is really precise.

I think the new lightning cable might be a bit bigger than the previous so that might cause some issues.

Thanks fisherman1. Just to confirm you have a Nudient v3 for a 12 Mini? Yes, the Nudient on my 12 Mini is installed properly, removed and reinstalled the case a few times (bummer to take off!) but still have the same issue. Like I said no issues with the other Nudient case for my 12 Pro. I think I might just have a faulty case rather than a design issue so will see what Nudient support say. Thanks again!
 
Is there any chance of some pics of the green case. It’s the case I’m really interested in. I’ve been trying to find some reviews and pics of it. But can’t find much, also does the 2 slits/gaps in the bottom corners let any dirt etc in?

Does anyone have any info on what they refer to as:

Built in auto adjust magnets allowing Nudient signature magnet products to be effortlessly removed and re-attached to your case.

Does this mean the case has magnets and will repel against magnet mounts?

@psychopomp2 would you kindly be able to test this?
 
@psychopomp2 - thanks for your reply. Hope you get your issues sorted. Having a Mini as well, and considering this case, would be interested to know how responsive and helpful their support team are! Please let us know what they say...

Whilst we wait for their reply, would you say the thickness of the case is about the same as the volume buttons? i.e. the buttons now sit flush with the case? Or is the case thicker than that?
 
I'd say the case is about 1 millimetre thick, easily the best case I've ever had for being very slim and the overall feel - far far better than cheap Amazon tat and even Spigen cases. The side buttons on my 12 Mini (and 12 Pro) are slightly recessed but only by a hair width or so.

Best way to describe it: its like having a naked phone but where the back and sides have been coated in a high quality rubber finish. Its that good.

Anyway I hope it really isn't a design issue with the 12 mini case and its just that I've just received a faulty one and hopefully they send me a free replacement one which doesn't the have same issue.

I will update this thread once I hear back from Nudient support but in the meantime if someone else is using the Nudient on the 12 Mini and does NOT have the charging issue, then please post on here to put my mind at ease!!

*is grip the same for all colours? example: spigen thin fit black is way better than white
 
The grip is fantastic, the case has a high quality smooth rubbery finish. Its that good to touch, that I quite often find myself fondling with the case lol.

Not noticed any difference in grip between the green case (12 pro) and the blue case (12 mini).

Thanks dude. Are the button easy to break? Did you have the same at any previous iphone or is the first one. I will buy one for the 12!
 
Same case, color and problem here. I bet it's faulty batch and i'am returning mine.

I have to disagree with that grip because mines back is really slippery compared to my older iPhone cases.

An update: Nudient have agreed to send me a free replacement case for my 12 Mini with no need to send the faulty case back. So I'm desperately hoping its not a design issue and the replacement is fine. In the meantime I tried the original Apple leather case for my iPhone 12 Mini today and....eeeurggghhhh. Its quite bulky and almost like a bar of soap (not much grip) when compared to the Nudient case. So that's going back to Amazon today for a full refund.

Any chance of pics of the two before you send it back? Could be a good like for like comparison.

I've reached out to Nudient with some questions around the magnets but no response just yet...
 
I ordered my black 12 mini v3 case yesterday. I'll let you know what I find. Seems like both people that have reported the issue ordered the green and blue case so maybe it was a faulty batch with those colors?
If black shows it as well then its likely that their measurements are off and will need to redesign/retool (I'm assuming).

Their support team has been poor in coming back to my questions, as in, they have't responded at all. Hence I've not ordered.

Also interested to know how quick shipping is.

My replacement blue case for the 12 Mini was shipped yesterday, takes about 1 week to reach the UK (based on 2 previous orders). I believe the case is shipped from Sweden but for some strange reason, tracking info shows as being sent from Germany.

After waiting a few days and checking in with them on when it would ship they told it was out of stock and I had to wait until the end of the week for them to get restocked and that it would ship next week...
Starting to wonder if this is a "legit" operation. Clearly they're shipping out cases to some customers but with defects and then taking orders for things they dont have? Ill give it a week and see before I pass judgment.

Interesting.

They still haven't responded to my 2 emails.

I note they post on Facebook but don't reply to comments.
Same applies to Instagram, people ask them questions, on their own posts, but not much interaction.

Regarding your 'out of stock' comment, note on their website they now state: "Due to high demand we have an extra 1-3 days in fulfillment." which appears to tie in with stock issues...
 
I have the same issue with a v3 iPhone 12 Pro case in Sangria Red. Another guy I got contact with on FB had the same issue. They removed our comments about the issue on their official FB page.. I have contacted them but their support hasn’t responded within a week. The other guy got a replacement but the issue persisted. Smells like a design issue.. shame how they handle their customers.

Avoid their cases!
