suck-o-rama

Should have gone to CPW - I was in & out by 0720. Been sat at home for almost two hours now! (don't mean that in any arrogant way)

Hope you get sorted soon. O2 have been absolutely rubbish!

It's an absolute, unmitigated disaster. I was third in the queue at my o2 store. As I sat down I explained that I was an existing iPhone upgrader. The guy said ok. At that moment I called o2 customer services and cancelled my online order (which they totally messed up and misled me about)

Then one staff member starts saying they're not doing upgrades for existing iPhone users. No-one knows what's going on.

I'm not leaving this store without an iPhone, especially now I've cancelled my online order.

An absolute farce. O2 should be utterly ashamed.

system does not work

I am sat at a terminal at the apple store in the Trafford centre. The system is jammed and no phones have left any of the stores yet.
They do have White ones though

It's true they should have a better infrastructure, but this happened to CPW on day one last year too. But it's got me thinking this is pretty good publicity for o2!

I was processed for an upgrade in 25 minutes. The system kept on "crashing". The most annoying thing is they were using a web-based client, so why couldn't Apple stores have used this? It's not hard to open up its intranet to Apple!

was 6th in line (6am) at clumber st nottingham and guarateeed my 16gb as the system crashed.

have to go back in later to pay for it, but they have reserved it for me..

this truly is a bummer, but what can you do? the system fcked up AGAIN!!!

they only had about 10 or so 16gbs in stock so guaraneteed mine anyway..

ho hum. tick tock..

They were processing upgrades when I was in store this morning and the people walked out with iPhone 3g boxes so I assume they can.

am in an O2 store currently. It's a first come first served policy. The local store had a grand total of 4 16GB iphones...
Stores might get astock delivery today here of is maybe 9.30am
But the store has no idea about the delivery contents.
With the system hit and miss -both systems were down
Just watching a destic hapen in store sue to the queuing!
You can go out for a coffee bit basically if you are qaidong for the deliveries then you gave to wait till O2 changes their policy. Agh!!!
They had 8gbs...
The carphone warehouse had 4 GB in total

Edit - all out of stock and it isn't even 9.30am ...
RSS!

this is monday to the power of 10 all over again!!!

i'm just breathing in and pout to keep calm and waiting for the o2 store to call me back to i can go collect my reserved 16gb!

Don't mean to be rude but you might want to edit your post - a lot of spelling mistakes make it very hard to understand.

Just back from the o2 shop in falkirk they just gave me the phone but it is not connected yet so not much i can do until it is. Well at least i got one thay had 5-16gb and 20-8gb.
