Oh... that would be a hard one.. theres only 3 two blocks from my school.
LOL. I have 3 within walking distance of my house. They are everywhere!

Starbucks totally represents American culture (especially in Seattle).

hah there's a guy in my Econ class who apparently is a barista @ Starbucks, and whenever the professor brings up an economic concept, he says "like Starbucks, right?" :D

I concur with the Big Mac + Diet Coke idea. Starbucks is becoming huge everyplace, but McDonald's is pretty much the cornerstone of fast food.

I agree with the Coca Cola bottle idea... it's one of the biggest icons of American culture and American-driven globalization out there.

Alternatively, how about a cowboy hat?

Take a watermelon and smash it with a huge mallet. I'm not sure how the teacher will respond professionally but I'm sure everyone will love it.

What comes to my mind.

-skyscraper
-McDonalds
-Coke
-Levi's Jeans
-Space-Shuttle
-Harley Davidson
-Statue of Liberty

Most of this stuff was already mentioned. I thought I'm going to post it anyways.

A black & white cookie. :D

It's sad that the euro stereotype of the US is fast food. I don't really know anybody that actually eats it more than once in a long while. I'd say we're getting fat off the NICE restaurants. :D

Haha, Dasani. That was banned in the UK, it just had so much bad publicity. First it was tap water, then it caused cancer... I bought one to try and urgh. Horrible. The fancy science behind this "pure water" just made it taste like a builder trumping in my mouth.

I'm sure he doesn't have to bring in the actual item. I think if he just brought in a brochure for liposuction his teacher would accept it.

A bag of potato chips, a Coke, a Recliner, and a TV.

Can't get any more American than that! :D :p

Really though, I would bring a computer. Considering almost everyone has either a Windows or an Apple which are both made in America.
Considering almost everyone is either above or below the poverty line.

The ones that are above the line and can afford a computer have either a Windows or an Apple which are made in China or Taiwan or Malaysia.
