My delivery date shows 9/25 fit now. You think UPS will update us if they bump it up? Because I have to arrange to be home and I'd hate for them to surprise me with a note that they tried to deliver it Monday and I wasn't home ...bc like everyone else I want this thing asap

ZhengZhou's air operations are heavily congested, so it sounds like it maybe took a UPS rail car to Shanghai to catch a flight there to help break the congestion.

i'm in the same shipment as yours. mine just showed an arrival scan in shanghai.


if we are lucky we can make it to the UPS81 leaving shanghai at 2 am and expected to land at 6:30 pm in anchorage then louisville

I am very positive, our phones will get to us on Monday. Flight is scheduled 2:29am CST.

Thanks for that little knowledge nugget, 'ole Frankie, but many people have seen their dates bump up (ie- from Wednesday to Monday). Things can change.

Mine is in Shanghai too so I went ahead and changed my delivery to Hold for Pickup on Monday.

Does anybody know if UPS will call us once it's available for pickup or can I just go in their office first thing Monday morning?

That was my post yesterday. I have an update today...

ZhengZhou, China 09/20/2014 1:45 A.M. Departure Scan

Local time in Zhengzhou is now 7:30pm (19:30) on Saturday 9/20. That means my phone departed Zhengzhou some 18 hours ago.

Should be arriving in AK in a few hours and then routed to Louisville! Horray!

Estimated delivery is still Monday (being moved up from Tuesday)

We've had actual UPS employees participate in this thread who have indicated otherwise; once they arrive in Louisville we may see some shipments begin to arrive sooner than the advertised dates. Unless you have some insider knowledge that they don't, I'm happy to wait and see what's going to happen.

That is what i am saying it may be sooner but the indication in the former post was that our phones took a taxi thru china and now going to be delayed

I ordered same (via Apple app, 64gb space grey 6+ for AT&T service) but ordered at 2:57 am CST. My card was charged Thursday around 10 am, and it shipped Yesterday morning at 7:30 am CST to arrive 25th. Apple order page didn't change from "processing" until 4 pm yesterday.

I hope you see some movement soon!!!
