Oct. 1 to 6 2014 Delivery Date Orders (Update) Delivered earlier!

I'm not sure why it has been said the UPS does NOT fly Saturday night - didn't sound right to me. If you look at Louisville arrrivals, UPS81 departs at 8:40 tonight from Anchorage coming to KY at 6:36 Sunday morning.

And guess where UPS81 originates?....Shanghai.

For early delivery times to make sense still, this must be our flight

I know the feeling, Mine is exactly like that above sitting there with no movement since Thursday Night. Thats nearly 2 days it is just sitting there waiting for a flight to be available. Not sure why, don't planes fly on the weekend or is it that UPS planes don't fly on weekends? What's up with that. At this rate we will get our phones on Thursday as it seems they will not fly out of China until Monday.:(

I just spoke with UPS (got transferred to a special department handling Apple shipments). She says my shipment (I guess the whole pallet or pallets) was selected for a "security scan" which was not completed until 6:00 AM this morning. She says the package is now cleared but has NOT left China yet (as of 11:00 AM EST today).

When I asked when I would receive it, at first she said "Monday" because it was "overnight" - but when I noted that the website still said Thursday the 25th with World Expedited, she said "oh, I see here - yes, you'll get it on the 25th." I asked if there was any chance of getting it here earlier, she said "no." So I have no idea whether she was falling back on the 25th date just to "hold the company line" and I might get it sooner, or if she was being 100% accurate and I am stuck at the 25th. Hard to see getting it Monday if it is still in China . . .

Wow, That's interesting.... A Security Scan... what bad luck on our part. IF this is true then we will probably not get it before Wednesday or the scheduled day which is Thursday Sep 25th. :(

Apple paid for express shipping for some and expedited for others, so UPS ships the express first, which is why some are arriving Monday-Tuesday (the express ones) and some Wednesday-Thursday (the expedited ones). It sucks that Apple didn't pay for express for all of us though.

Yes it is unfair.. to the ones that have expedited and not Express Overnight. Thats not like Apple. Usually they would do it the same for all and they would get a huge discount at that because of the massive shipments they are doing. Bummer City. :(

Damn, no wonder I don't see any updates on my package!! But it still show estimate delivery Tuesday.

I've had a lot of luck with Spigen cases, coupled with a tempered glass screen protector. Neo Hybrid keeps the phone sleek with good bumper protection and back coverage. I've had 1 4S, 2 5S, 0 broken screens or scuffed phones - plenty of drops in the driveway.

Mine is coming monday.. and by the way when I called apple a number of days ago the rep said a lot of people were asking for cases and goodies, I did not. After a pleasant conversation he asked if I wanted a case I said no thanks I ordered one. He then said tell you want i am upgrading your order to next day shipping....
Now I am grateful he did

I love their screen protectors although looks like their first batch doesn't fit right. I thought about getting the hybrid case but it seems flimsy to me and others have said the quality seems downgraded for some reason.

Going to ditch my old wallet and do a wallet iPhone case. Just one thing to carry!

I love the look of this one vs. the other options because it's basically a iPhone case AND a wallet that come together via a magnet.

a guy in the wallet case thread who owned one for the 5 said he wasn't satisfied bc the build quality wasn't that great. the concept seems spot on though.

I never liked the idea of putting my credit cards with my cell phone. Maybe i'm old fashion or something lol.

I had a case like that. The book book. Nicely made, looks great, but too many annoyances.. Having my credit cards displayed and having to open the flap every time I want to look at my phone, and having to hold it open when I talk on the phone lol. Talk about looking silly. Though it probably would make more sense with the iPhone 6's nfc

Yeah, that's why I skipped BookBook and went with DA. The phone case detaches from the wallet so you don't need to hold your wallet to your head when making a call. ;)
