I definitely can't complain about, nor am I unhappy with, a Thursday 9/25 delivery. ESPECIALLY because our original date was Oct. 1-6.

However, the thing that is irking me a bit is that UPS had my phone 6 days before 9/25 and I'm confident they can get it to me faster. Also, other people have seen Wednesday to Monday bumps, etc, and I haven't so I'm throwing an e-tantrum. :)

I did, too. I love it! (and I'm a female so the whole theory that you have to be a 6'2 male to handle it, is not necessarily true...=)

Same here. Model, size, carrier. At this point i don't know what to say, so tired of even checking my order status.. If we get it by the original arrival date of Oct 1-6..fine. We're still technically in the 5th Business day, I guess after the 10th business day and we're still "processing"..then we call ask "WTF is going on with my order!!"

Its hard to see all these shipments around us and those with this exact model/carrier/size are simply stuck.
 
I'd like to know when it's coming simply because i'd like to be home when the phone arrives so I can start restoring the files from my 4s as soon as I can. That's going to take several hours, and I don't want to be without a phone all evening.

It is maddening that it's been stuck with the same 7:10 arrival scan for over a day, now. I've been though enough of these launches that I know that when it starts updating again, it'll come pretty fast.

I did the same. So glad I did, because it reaffirms my 6 Plus purchase. It's so, so nice.

That said, I think the 6 is the best all-round iOS device. It's the "right" size. Just lovely. But the 6 Plus display is noticeably sharper, despite being downsampled.

And THAT said, the HTC One M7/M8 is still sharper than the 6 Plus. And yes, I can see the difference.

Dont know why you guys are seeing delays, but I have a AT&T 64gb iP6 Plus Space Gray in Shanghai with a delivery tracking for this Thurs 9/25

Ordered 3:45am EST

The 6 is definitely a purer iPhone experience but I think people who bought the 6 Plus are not looking to use it as mere phone. I am replacing my iPad mini with that!

Preparing for shipment, but it still says Oct 1-6 though. Ugh annoying. Was really hoping to have it this week :(

It's possible you will, I think the next status changes to Shipped, which COULD happen by tomorrow night..may arrive by Friday..perhaps the 29th.

I guess they ran out, it seems to be the most popular model, size. For all I know it's being assembled as I type? :eek:

Yep, I'd agree with that. I use my iPhone currently for so many things that the 6 Plus just makes too much sense.

So what's the next stop after Shanghai?? Hong Kong on an Asian tour before it finally reaches the states?? Frustrating!!!

Get that China Cargo jet heading east already!!!!!

Yep, same model as mine, and same status too. Mine's in Shanghai with a 9/25 scheduled delivery from UPS. The serial number from my Apple Support Profile indicates a build week of 37 (September 8-14).

I got some hands-on time with a 6 Plus at Best Buy today. It's gorgeous, just the right size for me, and it's going to be a joy to read and watch video on this thing. I can't wait.
 
Slightly off topic but somewhat of a diversion while I wait to see if my phone leaves Shanghai..

I can not for the life of me find where in the forums the post is that tells you how to find your iPhone 6/6 plus production date. I see my iPhone 6 and serial number on my apple support profile but want to look it up to see when it came off the line.

Anyone?

Dude, it was right there on pages 49, 67, and 84 of this thread.* ;)

It doesn't actually tell you the date, just the week. All three of mine were made in week 37.
