I'm in the same boat. Been stuck at that same status since Friday. Delivery date still says September 23rd.
My delivery is the 25th, which happens to be my birthday and of course earlier than the original Oct 1-6 date, but still, I was just so sure I would wake to see it had moved!

At least all you guys stuck in Shanghai know that's the case. Mine is been preparing for shipment since Thursday and it doesn't show on UPS or FEDEX!
It really depends on your area. In my region (CT, RI, MA), they have the AT&T model yesterday but the T-Mobile unlocked (which I wanted) is never available. Today everything is out of stock for 6 Plus model.
My phone that shipped on Thursday is stuck in ZhengZhou, China has always said Thursday 9/25 for the delivery date.
My other phone that only shipped today (Sunday) also says delivery on Thursday 9/25.
It's almost as if UPS planned for this extended stay in ZhengZhou. Otherwise, the phone that shipped 3 days later should have a delivery date of 2-3 days later.

Do we know if UPS updates tracking information on Sundays? Clearly they are are moving product today - tons of flights into KY.
I think the expedited part comes from when your goods reaches Louisville.
Come on we are getting the phone a week earlier than originally promised. I'm fine with getting it Monday, Tuesday, or even Friday!
Let's look at the facts here and come to the most reasonable conclusion:
He know there is rumor of a "security scan" being required on our phones.
We know there is no DATA coming in to provide information as to where the phones are.
We have a clearinghouse of information giving names, tracking data, phone models etc in this very thread.
The number of times we post here, refresh the browser, etc is all trackable via cookies and other surveillance methods.
I can come to no other conclusions than our current phones have become sentient, used this thread to find the flight our phone are on, and are doing everything in their power to slow the slow incessant march toward being obsolete that these shipments symbolize.
DESTROY YOUR OLD PHONE AND ALL THIS GOES AWAY. NEW PHONES ON MONDAY FOR EVERYONE!!

I was going to do the same thing. But, if you are premier, call your apple store ahead of time. I'm premier and couldn't buy a phone directly from apple because they told me I had to go through ATT.
I even thought about getting the tmobile phone, but they are all out of stock, probably because they are unlocked.
For those of us with 9/25, I don't know why you all can't just accept that the date is probably accurate and nothing will move until probably Monday. It sucks, but this delusion that we will get them on Monday or Tuesday is not very likely to happen. All the web site tracking and UPS flight watching isn't going to make it come any faster. In fact, it highly unlikely that its even possible to figure out what's going on by simply looking up stuff on Flight Track or whatever. Its just guesswork.
I imagine UPS is so far behind, that we have to wait until all the stock clears out before ours before it gets moving. There is only so much transport space available on the planes.

and what about those of us with delivery tomorrow???? but the effing phones are still in offing shanghai?????????? are we supposed to believe the phones will be here?

and why is it that my first phone ordered, first phone shipped isn't showing delivery until wednesday the 24 but the second phone order, second phone shipped a day later is showing tomorrow???? and BOTH have overnight shipping.
