Wish mine was Tuesday. STILL 9/25.

Gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with UPS if it takes them 6 freaking days to get a phone from China to USA. I know they can do better than that.

I know this was shot down before, but isn't it possible that they aren't rushing them out of China to ensure that they aren't being delivered before they should be based in what kind of shipping Apple paid for? Wouldn't surprise me; I know Fedex does this.

Mine is scheduled for Tuesday too, I hope UPS will not change it to a later date! Crossing my fingers now and hopefully we will see some updates on our packages by tonight.

I had my MBA, my iPad, and my iPhone up and ready. Kept trying on each until my iPhone finally got through. I had my wife on her iPhone too. At one point I ended up with three phones in my cart before I was able to check out, it was so flaky. Still thought I'd had gotten it in for 9/19 because that was the date when I started, but by the time I was done it had pushed back to 10/1-6. Not fun at 2am.

When I finally got my order in, I still got one of those "we'll email you in the morning once we contact loser AT&T to complete your order" emails. Sucks though to have 9/19 and get downgraded. I imagine that if you had final-clicked a few seconds earlier (during that span, Apple probably sold 1000 iPhones), you might have gotten 9/19, things were that tight. I never even got a whiff of 9/19. My date was always 10-1 to 10-6, so I suppose I'm ahead of the game.

Yeah, definitely possible but the UPS folks who have posted in this thread have all suggested the Apple orders receive A+ service because the account is so big. OH well.. :(

Where are the updates!?

"A" phone, yes, disappointing. One MILLION phones? Not so easy.

I have no idea what UPS is doing, but I didn't know expedited takes and moves this slow. Looking like I'm just gonna have to live with my 9/25 Thurs delivery. Funny thing during checkout it said 9/19 but email 10 minutes later said Oct 1-6.

Status is still 12:45 in Shanghai

I can vent a paragraph, but the frustrating part is having an ARS 5 mins away and seeing devices available for pickup…meaning I can just walk in and have this device already.

Oct. 1 to 6 Delivery Date Orders (Update) Shipping earlier!

So I got an email from UPS this morning about my brother-in-law's iPhone to which he preordered thru T-Mobile website, not sure when he preordered and what his delivery date is but I got the email because we live in the same household and I got the My UPS Choice account. Anyway his iPhone is definitely slated to be delivered tomorrow and so I changed it to hold for pickup and now his delivery date has changed from no info on delivery date now! I hope I didn't screw it up cause he will definitely kill me if I did. LOL

They handle millions of packages per day, so this isn't all that different. Instead of a plane packed with shipments from multiple merchandisers, it's filled with those of one; they are picked up from a single hub, on a single companies schedule. Yes, the sheer volume makes it a tough job, but essentially, there are fewer fingers on the pot versus a "normal" oak shipping period. Also being that Apple locked up the bulk of shipments out of China, these phones have dedicated handlers.

Another morning and guess what? Still stuck in processing!! Your iPhones may be stuck in China but at least they have made it out of the manufacturing plant :p. Could be still processing like me!

Spoke with UPS international like some of you have already. The rep was very informative. The delay for the 7:10 people was due to a security scan which was a huge hold up and it was finally cleared yesterday. The rep told me that our phones will be leaving on the next plane out of ZhengZhou which will be tonight our time. They will be in Louisville tomorrow and then disbursed from there. People that have Expedited can expect to get the phones the earliest the 24th and the latest the 25th which we already know.

I'm with ya Meg. I'd love for my phone to be stuck somewhere other than in multiple boxes of parts. Apple, take our money, please.

Yes, but you do realize that this is a million phones PLUS whatever packages they deliver normally. UPS can't just concentrate on Apple and ignore everybody else. They only have so many aircraft.

If yours is in Shanghai, thats the final China stop until Anchorage. So you are where you should be. It will probably move today, then to Louisville. Worst case, Tuesday (which is still way better than Thursday). Its also possible that UPS's web tracking is way behind. That happens all the time on these launches, getting deliveries before UPS even shows it arrived in your area. It could be in Louisville right now for all you know.

but why is the SECOND phone ordered, SECOND phone SHIPPED scheduled to be here TWO DAYS before the first one ordered and shipped?

Ditto. Me Too. Samesies.....you get the picture.

I have been so busy I can only check a few times a day but seeing all the movement in the thread does it make it rough.

Was there every any discussion of order# in relation to movement? I would go back and look but the pain of seeing all the UPS screenshots would be too much to bare ;) I remember when waiting for new Imacs to ship 2 years ago you could tell they went in somewhat of an order.

Anyone else starting to feel doubtful of a Monday delivery for us Shanghai folks?

Neither of my two Apple stores have a space gray 16GB 6+ for T-Mobile/unlocked right now.

Mine went from Processing to Preparing for Shipment to Shipped all within 24 hours (from Friday to Saturday this weekend)

My ETA is Thursday September 25. Not bad not bad

I am also in the Shanghai 12:45 group. If it wasn't for y'all, I would be seriously paranoid right now.

I am still showing delivery tomorrow by end of day (I live in Atlanta) so fingers crossed!

I think there's a conspiracy by China to keep more phones in China while tourists from China, in America, buy up all the iPhones to sell in China. It's all very clear now.
