Man this is so hard to believe. Its been over 60 + hours since my order was shipped and stuck at ZhengZhou, China 7:10 PM Arrival Scan. What are they waiting on? The security scan should not take this long. In China right at this moment of time on the PST time frame it is 11:09 am Sunday but in China right now it is 3:09 pm Monday already.

The soonest a plane could take off with our phones would be apps 6:35 pm China time or about 3 hours and 26 minutes. That would place the take off time apps 6:35pm Monday night if it don't take off by then we could miss our 25th delivery window. I am basing this on I am on the west coast so it would have to travel to Kentucky first then all the way back to NV and that takes time.

At least one more day after it arrives to Kentucky. So if it does not take off within the next 4 hours and you live on the west coast then you may get your phone late.

It's currently 2:45am Monday in ZhengZhou right now. Just add 12 hours to EDT.

I've been tracking my package, but it doesn't seem to be moving. Why?
Your package is still within the UPS network and, unless otherwise noted, should be delivered on the scheduled delivery date. Shipment movement information is captured each time a tracking label is scanned in the UPS delivery system. There may be several days between scans if the shipment is going cross-country or moving between countries.

...

Common scans include the following:
...
Departure Scan: The shipment has departed a UPS facility and is on its way to the next UPS facility. The shipment is moving; however, there may be several days between scans if the shipment is going cross-country or moving between countries.

My iPhone just switched to preparing for shipment. I'm not going to be home for the second half of this week, so I'm really hoping I can redirect the package if I have to...

I'm so frustrated. Ordered on ATT's website September 12 3:11am EST. Got confirmation 4:42am in email. Card had the $1 authorization and then the $436 amount (2 year contract price) which stayed on my card for about 4 days. Charges fell off and now my order just says preparing for shipment ever since. No movement. Dates were bumped from Oct-31, Nov11 to the current Oct 2 - Oct 11. It's been that way for days. I call 611 or the 877 number and get item is backordered. AT&T reps of course give me the same info that I can get by checking online. I tried to order through apple's store app but gave up after 3:45am since it wouldn't let me on.

It's frustrating when people who ordered through Premier like me who have later dates already have their phones or their tracking information and I don't. Where in the world is MY phone/tracking info?

If you continue reading that page:

"If your shipment is expected to be in transit for more than a day between tracking scans, we will display the day and date of the Next Expected Tracking Event in the Shipment Progress area. This message does not mean that your shipment is behind schedule or stopped moving; it simply means that the tracking label might not be scanned for a while. We display the Next Expected Tracking Event so you can rest assured that your shipment is still moving even though no new tracking scans may appear for a while."

Would have been nice...

I saw that too, would've been really nice. Even without that though, I think there's enough evidence that our deliveries will be on time (or earlier) despite the lack of scans.

Well both flights today from louisville to Ontario California leave before 2pm PST hopefully there will be a departure scan.

My best guess from peering into my crystal ball is that the phones from Shanghai (of which one is mine) are sitting in Alaska awaiting Customs to process the paperwork (who, along with the UPS workers are just now coming into work now to get ready to load the planes that are getting ready to start the new work work week for the pilots.

From what I can find, they normally start flying about 3pm to Louisville from Alaska with an arrival about midnight tonight. So hopefully they will start updating the tracking status.

I was finally charged and am preparing to ship! Never been so happy to see so much money taken from me!

I found in the past Customs issues are noted in tracking progress
