ya... we had 1-6... but i don't think we ever shoulda had that in the first place! i feel we should have had our phones before ANYONE IN A STORE was able to pick one up!!!!!

I don't have any experience whatsoever with those cameras but it's probably better than not having pictures of your child being born
And besides, if you don't take pictures what will your wife have as an excuse to threaten to murder you this week? 
If you changed something or had it held for pickup at a store, at best you'll pushed back to one day later pickup.
Not true, when I held for pick up.. The ups site gave me the dates I can pick it ups which starts at the date it suppose to be deliver
That's good then; must be based on location then. Every time I've looked into having something held it adds a day.
Agreed. It's super annoying. Especially annoying for you because if I remember correctly you got your order in 30 minutes after preorder launch. (Mine took 2.5 hours.)

Yep. There's really no rhyme or reason to it. Not quite raging but it certainly has me doubting that I'll ever go this route to order an iPhone again.
If mine (scheduled) for 22nd doesn't get here by 26th, I go away for 5 weeks then and will go without it for 5 weeks and won't be able to sell mine back to Gazelle as planned either First world problems...

In my location at least, having it held at your local hub (UPS Customer Center/Hold for will call) is same day as original delivery, but delivery to a retail store for pickup is a day later.
Are any of you currently using older devices, such as an iPhone 4? I am, and it's absolutely terrible on 7.1.2, especially with a jailbreak loaded on top. So slow. I sold my iPhone 5s about a month ago and picked the iPhone 4 up for $65 cash on Craigslist. Just needed a new battery (which seems to drain quickly).
So that's my story... I'm desperate. If my 6+ isn't here tomorrow as scheduled, I might lose it.

But it's the Saver vs Expedited thing, right? I have 2 theories: 1. Everything will work out the same for all once our phones enter the system stateside. Or 2. This is UPS' way of staggering deliveries for manageable loads for their drivers. I'm hoping it's option 1 for you guys.

but it is way better than Polaroid pictures of the baby... or borrow your wife's phone.... she won't be using it during that time

Thursday is not bad, but I walked into a big box store today what do i see. No lines and people buying their new 6's, 16GB albeit, but still.... ugh. Oh and the cases are almost all gone at that store.
What I'm curious to know is why the 7:10 group has Monday deliveries in it and is still in ZhengZhou (allegedly). It will be interesting to see if, like someone posted directly from UPS literature a few pages back, that when the delayed updates come in from changing countries that the phones are already in the States.
I'm down for a Thursday delivery but I'm very close to Louisville so if Monday deliveries are already in Louisville there could be hope for some of us. Whatever happens, we'll definitely know something new tomorrow.

Same here , 35 minutes after pre order launch, and peeps are walking around with the phone I pre ordered already.
