What I'm curious to know is why the 7:10 group has Monday deliveries in it and is still in ZhengZhou (allegedly). It will be interesting to see if, like someone posted directly from UPS literature a few pages back, that when the delayed updates come in from changing countries that the phones are already in the States.

I'm down for a Thursday delivery but I'm very close to Louisville so if Monday deliveries are already in Louisville there could be hope for some of us. Whatever happens, we'll definitely know something new tomorrow.

That 7:10 has multiple delivery dates from what I've seen. A lot of people say Monday and Tuesday. I have a Thursday delivery and I'm on that same flight. The guy down the street from me has a Monday date and has the same 7:10. I work for Ups and I still don't have a clue what the hell they are doing at this point.

Little off topic, but anyone here getting the 4.7 ip6 and still looking for a case? I accidently ordered a Spigen Neo Hybrid metal one. I was going to return it to Amazon, but as this thread has become a Band of Sufferers, I'd rather pass it along. I'll even so it to you - but not through UPS lol

Slim. I was preparing to ship for about 24 hours before I got a shipment notice. And that notice came from UPS. Apple took another ~8 hrs before it showed shipped.

Wednesday delivery 7:10

If I close my eyes a little, and squint really hard... my order that's been stuck at arrived in Shanghai since 12:45am (local time)... says... "at Seattle UPS for delivery tomorrow..."

IT DOES I tell you!

I know there are different delivery dates in the 7:10 group guys, I'm one of them, lol. I just used Monday deliveries to make that point, since that's tomorrow.

I've been trying to keep up with this thread as best I can but it's long! :)
I am in the Shanghai 12:45 group. My expected delivery date says tomorrow and it's being held for pick up.
I am off tomorrow but will I be notified when it's ready to be picked up or am I just to assume anytime after 8am?

Shanghai will be the death of me

Why exactly do all the Apple stores have plenty of inventory, but AT&T's shipping dates are beyond utterly terrible?

Check your tracking to make sure it actually comes in overnight since there have been no tracking updates. If it doesn't show it actually arriving in your local UPS center by tomorrow morning, call the customer counter and ask if it's actually gonna be on time.

To give you guys hope, since I'm in the same boat...

I've had NUMEROUS times with UPS and USPS (USPS is a lot worse, mind), where there's absolutely no useful tracking information other than "In Transit" or "Arrived at Nowhereseville."

Basically, while not guaranteed, I can still see the Monday iPhone orders that are still "stuck in Shanghai" actually make it to their destinations tomorrow. This sort of UPS limbo happens a lot when they're slammed with deliveries.

Guess we'll see tomorrow!

My 128gig space grey iPhone 6 Plus was shipped earlier this week from what looks to be directly from Foxconn and UPS says i'll get it this Thursday the 25th, woot! It's currently in Shanghai after just tracking it, hope its safe and sound :)

On a plus note, my case I ordered on Amazon is slated to be delivered on the 25th as well so i'm glad i'll be covered on day one, that was a big worry of mine since I was waiting for Otterbox or Speck to come out with some cases but as of writing this post, neither have yet so I was forced to just buy some other brand I hadnt used before.

I have it set to text me but I still compsivley check the tracking page several times an hour. It's bookmarked to my home screen lol

But it's the Saver vs Expedited thing, right? I have 2 theories: 1. Everything will work out the same for all once our phones enter the system stateside. Or 2. This is UPS' way of staggering deliveries for manageable loads for their drivers. I'm hoping it's option 1 for you guys.

I hadn't really considered option two; that might make sense, although I'm not sure how that would fly on launch day if all the phones had been ready for all the pre-orders.

How did people on here get free Apple cases for their iPhone 6 or 6+'s?

They called and pestered the apple people .... its not too uncommon in customer service relations in places that have a high profit margin if it can make the customer 'feel' they were treated nice etc...

as for me... UPS is still showing the same thing it showed from the first time I checked it.... sitting in ZhengZhou... from the morning of the 20th... Interestingly I was up to 2am or so and had checked ups a couple of times that night... woke up at 7am and had an email from apple saying it was shipped .. checked ups via the same reference method and the package had scan times far earlier than the last time I had checked it (when accounting for the time change)... and in my past experiences with UPS, I've had that phenomenon before where scans show up even a day later than they actually occurred (according to the time) ... although more often I have the "get it on the @#$# plane" scenarios... where a departure is never scanned at all to meet the push back time of the flight...

Of course its far better than my typical every-other month shipment from Asia... granted its from Japan and not China.. and it is using EMS/USPS and not UPS... often I'll get a few scans from the departure side (via Japan Post) and then I wont get anything on USPS until it hits the last scan in the city sorting station for USPS...

Now what I can't understand is when I look at the UPS tracking link while signed into "my choice" I can verify the name and address are right.. but they are NOT in the scheduler view thing...

Eitherway, still shows delivery on 25th... honestly it if it does move up, I need it the 23rd.. as the 24th is right out (I can't miss work that day period).

edit: also sad that I could have picked up the exact same phone tomorrow here locally ..... so used to pre-orders from Japan that are... if you don't pre-order it, you wont get it until ALL the pre-orders are completed... but I know.. launch days are too important media hype to give up.

FINALLY hacked into the UPS traffic flow system in Shanghai.

I found our problem.
