Seriously. At this point anyone with a pre-order not expected to ship for another week or so should probably just cancel and go pick one up at the store. Ridiculous.

But here's the problem with that... for me anyway... (the 5 closest Apple Stores, 10 if you include the 2nd page of results!)

Im thinking that until we see a scheduled flight out of Shanghai at Flight Aware, there will be no more updates and right now, there is nothing scheduled.

Some have scans in HK. Wonder if there are no flights out of Shanghai to Alaska, but what about from Shanghai to HK then to AK?

Mine's a Thursday 9/25 delivery, last reported in Shanghai and DO NOT have a delay reported on my tracking report. Still shows on time for 9/25.

Since the sender isn't Shanghai, and is ZhengZhou, I believe the message is an automatic system message that is generated after 24 hours. The 747 that passed through Shanghai would not have dropped off pallets at an intermediate stop on the way to Louisville where the it arrived Sunday Morning. So once the UPS system updates the message will go away and the delivery dates will straighten out.

Guys, delayed confirmed  also the Hong Kong thing disappeared.

You gotta be ****ing kidding me Apple.

I think the ones who are stuck in Shanghai, China who was originally scheduled for Monday or Tuesday will get their phones no later than Tuesday. However the ones stuck at ZhengZhou, China who was scheduled for Thursday 25th will get theirs on their scheduled date but could be moved earlier only by one day moving it to Wednesday 24th.

However we can confirm this in about 8 hours or less tomorrow morning as UPS will update all their tracking tomorrow morning. UPS is sometime lazy about updating over the weekend for some strange reason. The planes could actually be in USA right now but the tracking is not reflecting that at this point of time. Again tomorrow morning will tell all.

You know, here is the thing, Im not even upset at Apple, I would have been happy with a 9/25 delivery....it is the fricking UPS tracking system, it just messes with your expectations their inaccuracies and lack of ability to keep it updated...UPS sucks!

There's still that contingent of people in ZhengZhou with an est. delivery date of 9/23. I'm one...

UPS gets your hope up when they change it to 9/22 then cock slaps you in the face and says SIKE! lol

Yeah. I did track package, then after that I said "speak to someone" and was on hold for like 3-4 minutes and then they picked up.

Yeah, apparently I got routed to the piss the customer off by never picking up department. I got on Google Voice on my MacBook and got immediately connected to someone when it misunderstood my tracking number and they immediately connected me to the iPhone tracking special team. Now on hold with them...The original call had been 44 minutes....grrr......

Yours may deliver on 9/23 still. Don't give up. Thats Tuesday and is very probable that it will make that date. Wait until in the morning and we may all be very surprised or even more angry. I am going with surprised over angry at this point.

That being said, if we have no information tomorrow at all, and the shipments from Both places Shanghai and ZhengZhou are still stuck there, then in that case it will indicate a paperwork foul up of some kind. Then If that happens we need to contact Apple immediately and demand faster action. Who knows they will probably offer you a free case for your trouble, not that I would want one as I have my cases on order.

Calling UPS was useless. All she told me was that it missed the 5pm deadline and was the sender's fault, not UPS. Also said there's no delivery date at this time but "probably the next business day."

Calling Apple tomorrow. I'm so over all of this.

If it missed yesterday's 5pm cut off, so be it. It's 2.50pm Shanghai time now, are we missing today's 5pm cutoff too ?. How do you miss a 5pm cutoff when the phone sat there from 12.45am. Customs papers ?? Really ???, it's not like they don't know WTF the 20,000,000 packages are :p. Maybe open one of them up and call Apple and ask for the $#%^## paperwork. I feel like Cartman pacing in front of the shop waiting for the wii to come out....

First guy in iPhone department just literally read the status off my screen and didn't understand the concept that it couldn't be tendered late if they had the package for three days now...waiting to see if they have a more intelligent supervisor...
