Mine hasn't left Shanghai? :(

Delivery for the 25th...

Don't worry... flight from Shanghai to Osaka is only 1 hr travel time.

Mine left at 5:05pm Shanghai time (which is 6:05pm Osaka time) and arrived at 7:03pm Osaka time.

You have 3.5 hrs before the big plane from Osaka is leaving to Anchorage so maybe 2 more loads from Shanghai to Osaka before the plane departs?

Just thought I'd share that I had a scheduled Oct 1-6 delivery date, and it has just been shipped.

My order was submitted on apple.com, placed at 5:24 AM EDT 9/12

Hope this may help someone to gauge. Good luck everyone.

Sound like it's just leaving China today and will be late because of a customs issue.

Thank you for your message.

It got updated just minutes ago with the following:

Chek Lap Kok, Hong Kong 09/22/2014 5:46 P.M. Departure Scan

Seems shipments to Europe leave from Hong Kong and not Shanghai.

The following info on delivery was also added:

Scheduled Delivery Updated To:
Tuesday, 09/23/2014, By End of Day

Last Location:
Departed - Chek Lap Kok, Hong Kong, Monday, 09/22/2014

Further theory:

I am still hopeful for Tuesday 9/23 delivery here but I feel we're cutting it close.

Mine is currently in Osaka which it will board UPS105 to Anchorage per: http://flightaware.com/live/flight/UPS105/history/20140922/1330Z/RJBB/PANC

Once it's in Anchorage, I suspect they will go to Louisville next. Now, based on prior UPS flight from PANC to KSDF, the flight time is about 5.5 hours.

If the plane landed in Anchorage at 12:48pm AK Time (which is 4:48pm ET), there are basically 2 more stops for most people. One to Louisville and another to the local hub of your area (I think for East Coast it's Philly). Let's just say they take the next flight out to Louisville around, it'll be there around say 10pm-11pm ET in Louisville.

Cutting it a little close there because at least for me, they still need to go to my local UPS hub. We shall see!!

Edit: flyingwasabi added this information
"most flights arrive in Louisville between 12 am and 2 am and are processed and shipped out by 4 am, land at your local airport by 7 am, drive to your local UPS center by 9 am, jump right on a truck, and head out for delivery. Our next day air packages are always the last to arrive and get loaded in the morning before the drivers leave to deliver."

This is great that means arriving in Anchorage at 4:48pm ET is PLENTY of time for it to arrive in Louisville between 12am-2am (since it's around 5.5 hrs flight)

Yeah because yours is heading West so it makes more sense to route it to HK instead of Shanghai. the US flights are going from Shanghai to Osaka it appears and then Anchorage which is eastbound!

HK is probably the last stop before it arrives in UPS hub for Europe (I think it's Cologne-Bonn airport) so yay!:D

I finally got shipping info on my 6 Plus after sitting in processing until yesterday afternoon. Arrived in ZhengZhou at 5:44pm and current expected deliver on Wednesday. Woohoo!!!

Looking like those with Thursday deliveries didn't make it on the plan to Japan?

That's such bull ****! This whol arbitrary Expedite/saver issue is pretty messed up! Don't get me wrong. I'm happy for those of you fortunate to get selected for Saver shipment. It seems unfair for some of us to get held up for absolutely no reason other than bad luck.

My status finally updated to "departed Zhengzhou at 4:45pm". But when I check flight aware there are no planes flying in the area right now. Does anyone know anything about that?
I'm a 7:10'er for 9/25 delivery.
