Must be a glitch
Mine also just changed to 9/22 and I am in NY
I am sure it will change back to 9/23 shortly

So....

UPS99 is scheduled to arrive in Louisville at 1:46am then it looks like there's a daily flight to Orlando (my home) at about 4:30a (UPS1236) arriving in Orlando about 5:45a.

Surely that's enough time to get it on a truck to me tomorrow, right? RIGHT?

[please just say yes]

PS: Salt in the wound: my co-worker ordered a phone 30 minutes AFTER I did and he's had his since Friday. Thanks Apple.

This has probably been mentioned but I can't find it...

I am holding my phone to be picked up at the hub (I guess it's called that?)

Now it's showing my delivery date as today, which obviously isn't true as the phone is in Alaska and I am in Houston, Texas lol. At any rate, will I get a notice from UPS when it's actually there and ready to be picked up? Or am I supposed to just call tomorrow and see?

Hopefully us on the West Coast will at least keep Tuesday delivery and not slip back to Wednesday. I still can't understand why it would take an extra day.

There was lots of talk like this about the people who had Monday/Tuesday deliveries on Friday... you know what happened to them? They all got pushed back a day.

I'm thankful we aren't all waiting in China with no updates still....
I was in maybe the first batch of the Oct 1-6 shipped phones that was stuck in Shanghai over the LONG weekend. I had a date of Tuesday then UPS updated to 'early arrival' monday - before the delay. Apple always said Thursday. UPS now says Tuesday. Perfectly clear, right?

I would love to think that's possible, since I'm in Orlando too and also expecting my phone, but I'm dubious. The packages are normally on the truck well before 5:45 am. Here's to hoping I'm wrong!

Whuddup, we're in the same boat! (Literally we downgraded from a plane.)

Ditto. Haven't been following the thread super closely - what happened to our phones? How do we know that they got held up and didn't get on a plane (and are not just stagnant in Zhengzhou?)

I was told to check the tracking and it's ready for pickup when it says Completed? (or Delivered?)

You seem like a lovely, intelligent person but in this case I hope you are an idiot with no idea what you're talking about ;)

I was part of the 7:10 group that got held back because of the security scan. I believe my phone is on UPS99, and it's just getting to Alaska in about an hour or so. My UPS tracking has a delivery date for EOD tomorrow, 9/23. I feel kinda skeptical about that. Is it possible for my phone to touchdown in Alaska an hour from now, and be able to be at my doorstep tomorrow?

I asked my boss if I could WFH tomorrow, and he gave me the green light. I just really hope it gets delivered tomorrow or else I might have to ask to WFH again on Wednesday :D

So, UPS flight 99 continues to Louisville shortly after landing (about two hours, maybe less this time since the first leg of the trip was delayed). Between 3-5am, there are flights headed all over the US to arrive before the first delivery run. For example, there are two flights from Louisville to Philadelphia between 4-7am, the first of which would certainly arrive before the first delivery run (with considerable time to unload onto a truck). Yours will probably be in your hands tomorrow if UPS says so.

When I changed mine to will call at the service center, it told me 9/24 (my delivery date) and gave me the normal hours of that service center (open at 8:30am). So I am guessing whenever your center opens.

hhmmm, Now i'm thinking if I should do this so I don't have to wait all day for my delivery.

My guy said this about the "Air" packages that come in when I asked if they had to be there by 3am:
" No, air comes in around 6:30am, then unloaded. They won't leave the building without the air packages".

Hope this helps anyone hoping for their phone tomorrow. I am a 7:10'er with a scheduled date of the 25th but hopeful to get it the 24th!

I'm going to get 7:10'er tattooed on my arm to remember this thread by. :p

That is why I did it, no sense in sitting around all day to make sure I don't miss the delivery when I can just go to the UPS Hub 10 minutes away and pick it up when they open.

So peoples whos phones are in Anchorage, when can we expect another departure and to where?

I'm located in florida wondering where my phones headed next

I have checked FlightAware all day and there are no flights from Zhengzhou to Incheon or Anchorage.. Does this mean they have another airline ship them there? Totally confused as to who is flying the planes our phones are on.

Thanks for the reply! I wonder what flight mine would be on from Louisville
