Oct. 1 to 6 2014 Delivery Date Orders (Update) Delivered earlier!

Unless the shipments travel directly to the local hub or UPS drivers plan on working late nights I'm not holding my breath for tonight. Sucks that my college mail room is only open 5pm-midnight, I'll have to spend the good part of my day tomorrow knowing it's there waiting just out of reach.

Ok everyone I have some news that I'd like to share regarding those of us that had our delivery date moved. For me anyway (Scheduled delivery of the 22nd) I called UPS just now and explained it was now showing a delivery of Wednesday the 24th. I was able to have the package HELD and that it will be available for pickup in person tomorrow. So I guess I get to the package early now 
LOL there it is 12:43 arrival and schedule to come by EOD today in NJ. Cant wait...call apple up get a free case if it doesn't
I wonder if they're recalculating the ship dates when they're hitting American soil? Seems like a long shot, but who knows.
just FYI... i ordered my 6+ on launch day (actually a few minutes before prorders were even supposed to start) from AT&T.
it shipped out on saturday from fort worth texas and was delivered to me today in auburn alabama after a couple stops in memphis, tn, atlanta, ga, and la grange, ga.

I ordered 1237PST. I was sure i'd only be delayed to the 1-3 day vs the 7-10.

UPS told me that the Alaska scan is where it clears customs and it delivers one business day start clearing customs. So tomorrow. Despite updating the delivery to today.

It's all speculation, but perhaps because they crossed into the 23rd and had to rescan for the new 24-hours period.
I was part of the 7:10 group that got held back because of the security scan. I believe my phone is on UPS99, and it's just getting to Alaska in about an hour or so. My UPS tracking has a delivery date for EOD tomorrow, 9/23. I feel kinda skeptical about that. Is it possible for my phone to touchdown in Alaska an hour from now, and be able to be at my doorstep tomorrow?
I asked my boss if I could WFH tomorrow, and he gave me the green light. I just really hope it gets delivered tomorrow or else I might have to ask to WFH again on Wednesday

Maybe fighters will cross the east coast dropping iPhones over delivery addresses with little parachutes? Or maybe this is going to be delivered by Drone from Anchorage?
