99% of air should always go to Louisville first. A flight that leaves Louisville at 5 am will arrive in CA at 5:30 am because of the time zones, so it will make service. That's part of the reason that Louisville is on the east coast.

Thanks. Happen to know which flight its on to KY?

Woot! Found my flight! 99 should land in plenty of time to get my phone on here, and the local hub is like 15 minutes from my house. Tomorrow may be likely! Still scheduled for Thursday on UPS. FINGERS CROSSED!

I was just about to ask if anyone had seen the flight from Loiusville to Richmond or Newport News. I'm hoping my 9/25 gets bumped to 9/23 or at least 9/24. Waiting for UPS99 to touchdown now... :D:D:D

If my phone gets to Louisville, Kentucky in an hour and I live near Atlanta, around when should I receive the phone. Would it travel directly here from plane or truck?

Woohoo. Found my flight to Boston. Leaves Louisville at 4am. Hopefully that's enough time to unload, go through customs and get loaded back onto another flight.

Your phone already went through customs. The origin site (in this case China) processed it already and scanned the documents into a computer that were sent to Louisville ahead of the shipment so it was all ready to go when it got there.

Also, UPS drivers leave around 9-9:30 each morning to deliver, and the air is always the last to arrive at the building and get unloaded. They will wait for that air car to come in, get unloaded and put on trucks before they even think of leaving for the day, even if it's late.

On Friday I had a package scheduled for Friday and with all the iPhone hub bub it got delayed said "tractor trailer was late arriving we are rescheduling your delivery" and it came today

Just a point of trivia, the arrival scan in Kentucky should theoretically be the last time a large group of our phones has the same scan time. From there they will break them down and scan them individually. Make sure you ask your phones about any friends they met on the way over here.

Yeah, but that's a ground package. UPS assigns an entirely different weight to getting air packages out on time.

As eager as I am to get my iPhone in my hands, I am actually impressed with seeing quite the logistical feat–These four planes must have the bulk of our orders, one after the other:

Sorry to be annoying, I feel alone here . :( Anyone care to guess , or anyone else yet to get to Louisville?

I'm having the same issue man! Once my phone arrives to Louisville, it would literally take 4 1/2 hours to drive it to me. So I assume mine will be driven to me once the plane lands.

Ok so it's not just me. I think Louisville to Atlanta is like a 7 hour drive. Sigh

Guys, Louisville is not going to drive you your phone, they're going to fly it to the nearest airport where an air driver from your local UPS center will pick it up in a brown truck, drive it back to your center, get it unloaded, then put on trucks for delivery.

I have been trying to explain this but nobody ever listens.

Hey guys quick question,

For someone in Socal (Huntington Beach to be specific) where is the phone going to go once UPS99 lands in KY?
