sooo... its in my city and just because its the international hub or whatever, I still will not see my phone for 2 days?
You think there is anyway it could be ready for pick up today if I called? I am just trying to figure out if some of you were on the same flight and have arrival time today and I don't know what is happening here?!?
UPS has held steady at a 9/24 delivery date for me. I suppose it's possible, but I'm not going to hold my breath. If I get it before Friday, I'll be more than pleased as I was expecting to wait another week minimum anyway.
My arrival was 45min earlier than you in Louisville and still stuck there... And yes ups still showing on time with delivery date for today..
Customs clearance is sporadic and slow, you'll have it tomorrow. The government lets nothing leave before clearing customs.
Also in the Boston area, also in Louisville last night (12:18pm) and I'm listed as express saver. Delivery has shown as 9/22 (early) 9/23 (originally scheduled) all along.
Mine too....still in Incheon and did not leave with the others that are in the US now And being delivered...wth???
Can you speak to the issue of packages allegedly still in Louisville and still have a delivery date of today?
That's fine because I can still go to the center and pick it up. I only need will call if its coming today because no one will be around to get it and I don't want it sitting on my steps.
If it really is here I'll be near the center in the afternoon to pick it up.
TBH I won't even get to open it today because I won't get home until late at night.
Nah, that's not really how UPS operates. The request is already in to the census bureau and will clear any hour now in time for the evening shift at Louisville. Most phones will be out by 5 pm or so.

They won't release an iPhone without an adult signature unless you pre-sign because they're high risk items.
Last night you said our phones already went through customs. I'm confused why that doesn't appear to be the case now.

Stuck in Kentucky with a delivery date of today. Never made the RDU flight. I'm bummed. This has got to be the worse release for us in the history of the iPhone. Yes, I know it's only a phone, but we are patiently waiting for them to get here so we can switch one of our 5s out to my son who currently has a totally dead phone and an unhappy mother.
Wrong. 5 pm or so this evening for the majority of them they'll get a departure scan. Promise.

What expected delivery date do you have? East Coast?
There's nothing wrong in wanting to know where a $1000, easily steal-able item is.
So China uploads an image of the mass invoice for our phones with a commercial value and description of goods into the computer, but they don't technically clear customs until they physically arrive, and the US Census Bureau examines the uploaded images and approves them. Sorry for the confusion. It looks like millions of phones created a backlog in the government system again like last year, so they'll be clearing in the next several hours one by one. Somebody's phone is clearing right now, but they probably aren't on the forums to post about it. lol Blame the government's legendary inefficiency.

With the other objects on the table it looks like you were plotting against UPS if this didn't work out well today.
