Actually this thread made me forget that I'm getting an iPhone 6.. I was kinda caught up in learning how UPS ships like a ho-ho.
If it helps, I was also on the same Zhengzhou-Shanghai-Osaka-Anchorage flight path with a projected delivery date of Monday (early) and Tuesday (original) the entire time. My phone is still stuck in Louisville and has been there since 1 a.m.
This honestly wouldn't frustrate me so much except for the fact that the tracking is so screwed up and my iPhone 5 has a bad proximity sensor so I can only talk on it through Bluetooth or speakerphone. I would like to be able to have a private phone conversation please!

Our phones are buddies. Considering that I have a working iPhone 5S I really shouldn't be complaining, but as with all things in life, if something is up to chance, I usually get the short end of the stick, so I'll live.
The drivers would probably get crazy people stopping them and asking for their packages everyday lol. Might not be a good idea for them in that situation.
1:34 am arrival scan no update for me
Same here. Just got off the phone with UPS and they have no idea where our packages are. Definitely not getting delivery today (had Monday as our delivery date). So, ours will be two days late in arriving. UPS is blaming China on delayed delivery. Told the guy that was really funny when others had movement out of Louisville in the middle of the night yet ours are still sitting there. He just kept saying "It's showing delivery for today"....well....how will that happen when I live in NC and the phone is in KY.
One hot momma - yes, it's just a phone - but I have a son with no phone and a school bus that is not reliable. I'm not happy.
Neither do I. I think it takes a little while after the flight leaves for the scans to show. And there's always a chance that that isn't even our flight. We shall see I guess.
I'm in the same boat. Flight 49 is in the air and my phone is still not reading a departure scan from Incheon. I'm hoping it's just a screwup and the phones are on the plane. We'll find out for sure when it lands.
Hopefully we're all on flight 49. My tracking stills shows me for delivery tomorrow, so I'm optimistic.
I'm in the same boat as you. I don't understand why it still says "ON TIME" and is scheduled for today. My delivery has always been scheduled for 9/23 and briefly for 9/22 even. I even got a text alert this morning saying my phone was out for delivery, and then an e-mail a little bit later saying the same thing. Yet it still shows as being in Louisville...

it is your experience that a package leaving tonight, say, for NYC, will be delivered in the morning, as opposed to a package leaving in the wee hours?
From the tracking screenshots I've seen, our phones were split up in Anchorage, for God knows what reason. Those going to the south (FL/GA) got on a flight 2 hours earlier that departed at 2:17 from AK. Those were sent out for delivery. Those also passed customs in 30 minutes.
Everybody else seems to have been put on the 4:19 flight, and is stuck...
EDIT: WTF those screenshots show they were scanned in Alaska 2 MINUTES before ours that are stuck. I have a 12:45 scan, theirs are 12:43

These service reps have the same access to tracking as you do. Unfortunately they too do not have faith in the info either so the best they can do is try to offer hope with a touch of reality. It is not their fault but instead the process and the systems currently in place. They hear this same stuff say in and day out. Hopefully UPS and other carriers will hear the calls for more transparency and create systems to accommodate. The phones will be here soon enough and hopefully some of us are surprised.

A similar thread will be created every year; you'll often see some of the same folks back time and again and it's like a reunion. Over at XDA the Nexus forum would fill with regulars and we would share war stories of last year's Nexus pre-order. Good times.
