By the way, looking at old threads here and the Apple forums from years past, there seems to be a concentrated amount of import scans showing up from 11 am-3pm then the phones leave between 4 pm and 5 pm. Start F5ing now!

I think it's cute you think my F5 key even works at this point.

Big day for #Team520!! There is hopes for delivery tomorrow!

I just got to Incheon a hour and a half ago!

Incheon, Korea, Republic of 09/23/2014 8:00 P.M. Arrival Scan
ZhengZhou, China 09/23/2014 5:00 P.M. Departure Scan

It looks like we depart on UPS49 to Anchorage, but it is delayed because it is already past departure time in Incheon. Grr.

I'm right there with you too!

Incheon, Korea, Republic of 09/23/2014 7:56 P.M. Arrival Scan
ZhengZhou, China 09/23/2014 4:46 P.M. Departure Scan
ZhengZhou, China 09/22/2014 9:15 P.M. Arrival Scan
09/22/2014 8:40 P.M. Departure Scan

09/22/2014 5:10 P.M. Origin Scan
China 09/22/2014 6:30 A.M. Order Processed: Ready for UPS

I'm in the same boat as you. I don't understand why it still says "ON TIME" and is scheduled for today. My delivery has always been scheduled for 9/23 and briefly for 9/22 even. I even got a text alert this morning saying my phone was out for delivery, and then an e-mail a little bit later saying the same thing. Yet it still shows as being in Louisville...
Same here. I've always been amazed at UPS' ability to get packages to me quickly and am hoping for the same today.
I did a hold for pickup and our Customer Service Center is open until 7:30. If need be, I'll skip carpool pickup (just kidding).

10AM EDT and still no import scan on my phone. Going to Orlando, FL here. Arrived in Louisville at 1:56AM

From the tracking screenshots I've seen, our phones were split up in Anchorage, for God knows what reason. Those going to the south (FL/GA) got on a flight 2 hours earlier that departed at 2:17 from AK. Those were sent out for delivery. Those also passed customs in 30 minutes.

Everybody else seems to have been put on the 4:19 flight, and is stuck...

Not necessarily true. I'm in FL and was on the 4:19 flight and stuck in Louisville as well. We landed in plenty of time to make the Orlando flight but for some reason, my phone didn't get on that flight.

A similar thread will be created every year; you'll often see some of the same folks back time and again and it's like a reunion. Over at XDA the Nexus forum would fill with regulars and we would share war stories of last year's Nexus pre-order. Good times.

yah, other than flyingwasabi, I'm probably not going to remember many posters names.

We should have a Facebook group: Survivors of Oct 1-6

Our phones are buddies. Considering that I have a working iPhone 5S I really shouldn't be complaining, but as with all things in life, if something is up to chance, I usually get the short end of the stick, so I'll live.

I feel like our phones should get together for play dates.

I've been lucky in the past and have always gotten release day. I picked up the iPhone 4 (and waited in line for 6 hours at Perimeter for the privilege to do so) and had the iPhone 5 mailed to me (due to having a 9 month old at home) so I had trust in the system this go around. I'm not so sure whether or not I will have that trust in the future.

But i assume that buying iPhones is kinda like childbirth. You forget just how horrific it was after awhile.

hey man, thanks for all the insight.

it is your experience that a package leaving tonight, say, for NYC, will be delivered in the morning, as opposed to a package leaving in the wee hours?

I would imagine most of you will see your package in your area by 8 pm or so tonight, but that will vary by location. Some can see theirs land as early as 6 pm. From there they'll get shuttled out to your local center in the morning.

This is a Public Service Announcement. I discovered that there is only a one digit difference between UPS's phone number and hot girls ready to talk to you NOW! Perhaps this can help some of you pass the time while waiting for your phones to move ;)

I called UPS since my package still shows on time for EOD today, 9/23. She was nice and has seen about 40 such packages with a last scan of:

Louisville, KY, United States 09/23/2014 1:56 A.M. Arrival Scan

She floated the idea that it is possible the scans are missing since she is still not seeing a delay with my package. We shall see. If not today, hopefully tomorrow.

This thread is probably so rabid due to the fact that a large number of us were in there refreshing on 9/12 at 12.00am, refreshed for hours for the website to go live, then get a Oct 1-6 window despite ordering within 90 seconds of site going live.

Then we were given new hope when our orders started shipping on 19th showing delivery dates of 21st and 22nd etc. Now we are rabid.

Mine showed 9/21, then was Shanghai'd
Then it showed 9/22, then faced Louisville 1.45am arrival.
It still hasn't left Louisville 9hrs later, so won't arrive 9/22. As mentioned, if it doesn't get here by 9/25, I won't get it for 5 weeks.

Breathe in, Breathe out

Were you the one who was stuck here since Yesterday while everyone else was hightailing to Anchorage?

I also lined up for the iPhone 4! If anything, I've learned from now on to always under-promise and over-deliver.

EDIT: WTF those screenshots show they were scanned in Alaska 2 MINUTES before ours that are stuck. I have a 12:45 scan, theirs are 12:43

Nope, I can throw a hole in that theory. I'm in GA and went out of Anchorage at 3:49 p.m. yesterday. Landed in Louisville at 1:56 am where I have sat ever since.

For those doing the Pick Up @ UPS Hub. A bit of a warning I think.

Since I THOUGHT my phones were coming today (pffft) I had another package coming from Amazon so I decided to have it held at UPS as well since I was going there, I'd save them a trip way out in the countryside. I did the request online yesterday at 7:50pm.

This morning at 7:02am I got this email from UPS My Choice:

Hi Scott, your package is available for pickup.
The pickup location of your package is: Please pick up your package by Tuesday, 09/30/2014, or it will be returned to the shipper.

Ok, fine, so it worked. Or did it? Now I check tracking on the package. So now, is the package at the office or is the package on the delivery truck? Is this going to happen tomorrow with my phones?

Oh no - a whole new problem. If the scans aren't coming thru, how will I know my phone is ready for pickup!

I'll be glad to have my new phone with the health apps. I have a lot of exercise to catch up with after I no longer need to track my phone.

That would be nice but it probably would have gotten another scan along the way. I think she's just stalling until you get it tomorrow. lol

I think the system doesn't update and tell you that it missed EOD until the end of the day when it gets another scan and realizes it's gonna be late, so right now since nothing has changed it hasn't recalculated.

I was told to wait for the completed message. So I think that means it's ready? You might want to call.

The disturbing part is the scan at 8:43 that its on the vehicle for delivery... 2 hours after I get the email that it's ready for pickup.

How long after the flight leaves Korea should I see it update in the tracking, to know it made it on the plane? It was there about 2hrs before the flight departed.

But you phone was split from the rest on the 12:45 arrival, as well, and ended up on yest another flight after 2AM. Were you scanned at 12:45 or 12:43?
