I woke up just now knowing I was gonna see my phone in my state, but alas, it never left Kentucky

Throw me a bone, UPS!

Thank you for this. It really sucks that I won't get it til tomorrow. It seems like some other people that were on the same Osaka flight as me got theirs and are moving along. I was given a Monday 9/22 date originally.

Just to let you guys know, my phone has also been stuck in Louisville since 1.56AM, my delivery date was meant to be today, I contacted UPS via online chat and after being rerouted to a bunch of different people I was finally told as follows by an Apple specialist:
"Based off of the tracking details, your package will be arriving into our Kentucky UPS Location today. From that location to your home (In NYC), it will be 3 more business days in transit. You can expect your package on Friday, September 26. Your details of what you will see when you track the package through UPS.com will show you that it is Kentucky already. However, it is actually on a plane on its way"....

Anyone from cinncinati or its vicinity? Mine is scheduled for today but stucked in LV. Its pretty close I wish they can make it today.

I would imagine most of you will see your package in your area by 8 pm or so tonight, but that will vary by location. Some can see theirs land as early as 6 pm. From there they'll get shuttled out to your local center in the morning.

Yep, this is basically how every UPS package I've ever received has ever worked. Usually on the truck and on the road by about 9am from my local hub.

Off-topic but kind of funny. A co-worker of mine asked me if I'd gotten my phone yet, and I told him "no, it's in Kentucky but should be here by tomorrow". He laughed and said there was no way. Thinking that he'd had a bad experience with UPS or something, I asked him why he said so and he replied "You know how far away Kentucky is from here?"

I thought he was kidding but he was dead serious.

Nah, they're idiots on that line. Not even worth calling them. It should be there tomorrow, just 1 day late. Wait until 5 pm tonight and if you don't see "Import Scan" on your tracking and a departure time soon thereafter, then it's time to complain.

I know several people were wanting to see the tracking info for those who are getting delivery today. Here's a screengrab of mine.

For those doing the Pick Up @ UPS Hub. A bit of a warning I think.

Since I THOUGHT my phones were coming today (pffft) I had another package coming from Amazon so I decided to have it held at UPS as well since I was going there, I'd save them a trip way out in the countryside. I did the request online yesterday at 7:50pm.

This morning at 7:02am I got this email from UPS My Choice:

Ok, fine, so it worked. Or did it? Now I check tracking on the package. So now, is the package at the office or is the package on the delivery truck? Is this going to happen tomorrow with my phones?

I cancelled my request for will call. Luckily I didn't do it for my other packages.

At this point I am not even surprised anymore. To be fair, originally I was concerned about not receiving my phone prior to my vacation on October 4th, so as long as it arrived before then I would've been thrilled given the original estimate of October 1 - 6. However... now I'm just sad :(

Man, imagine how many weeks it must have taken to get here from Alaska. lol

So... UPS didn't think it was enough to leave my phone in China for 3+ days.. now it's going to hold it hostage in Kentucky?!? WHY in the HECK didn't it make a CA flight while I slept.

So. Flipping. Pissed.

I think the agent told me I might still see a 'out for delivery' message - just to look for the completed. It might just be a glitch in the system as a way to show it wasn't signed for yet.

Again, looks like folks who left from Anchorage to Louisville on UPS109 landed around 12:15am ET last night seem to have their phones cleared for imports.

Everyone else on the other 3 flights after that (which seems to be the bulk of the shipments) did not get clearance since we clogged the customs system and now we're waiting another day for clearance

Its frustrating that some folks made it through customs right away, and the rest of us are still waiting.

Thats life I guess.... they can't process them all at once. Someone is going to pull the short straw.

It didn't fully clear customs yet because the Census Bureau website is slow. It should get an Import Scan any hour now and be on the road by around 5 pm for delivery tomorrow.
