This thread is awesome. Thanks to the UPS fellas for all of their information.

I see others here with the same woes, stuck in Korea. :(

Any of you UPS dudes have any insight as to why I see others shipping after me and getting theirs before me? My delivery date is 9/25

It's really hard to say. My phone shipped a day before my cousin's, but I was in a palette that was randomly selected for a Chinese government security screening, so missed the Friday plane out and shipped same day as my cousin who ordered later. There's a lot of moving parts to all of this. Once you finally get to Louisville and get an Import Scan you'll have an accurate delivery date, but everything until then is a bit more murky.

Depends on the US Census Bureau. The last 2 years they were getting import scans while still in the air after departing Incheon. They're extra slow this year for some reason. Maybe the Obamacare website people helped update the Census Bureau website. :D

i just entered my tracking number on the obamacare site and it came up blank.

Both phones, huh?

Using a 5s, it's not the biggest wait in the world. For those of us on older devices, such as myself on an iPhone 4, it's seriously a nightmare, getting worse by the day.

You're comparison is laughable at best....It's like comparing a kitten to a lion...Sure they are both cats at the end of the day but you're likely only going to let one in your house...

If you were sitting with a Moto flip waiting on your first smartphone, the IP6 then perhaps you would have a point...You do have a smartphone...So again at the end of the day...

It's just a phone...

I remain optimistic. And if comes Thursday, that's no big deal. Just happy it's coming, I do have to pick up some kind of case today though..the one I ordered from Amazon shipped Friday but arriving Oct 8! Eh.

There was someone in this group maybe 100, 150 pages back last week (which feels like a month now..lol). He stated he got his last pre-ordered iPhone at 11PM via UPS. Is that possible? I've seen trucks out as late as 8:30, 9pm sometimes..but thats usually during the holidays. Then again if his phone came in mid-Oct, thats actually when UPS starts to really starts to pick up with Holiday orders already..damn, thats a depressing thought, I am really not the happy Christmas jolly type heheh.

Yes, drivers have been out past 11 pm, but that's more likely around the holidays. Last year we had a driver that was out until almost midnight and had to bring his truck back with like 7 stops remaining because US DOT regulations forbid any driver from going over 14 hours in a day.

So if I try to change delivery to "will call" how far along in the process online will I find out where the center is located that I would have to drive to? Don't want to go to far in the process to find out it is miles away.

No nothing at all. At this point I believe that they'll just let them sit for two days in Louisville because they can. they're not coming anytime soon...

I have no idea. I can't tell if there is a queue and it's sorted in order of delivery, or just totally random

Should be there right when you click before you confirm.

Almost here.

Well I guessed right in thinking the 6 would far outsell the 6 plus. Did the smart thing and ordered my wife's 6 Space Gray 128gb at 12:55 am and my 6 Plus same color 128gb, both AT&Tat 12:59 am (soonest I could get into Apple Store) She received hers on Friday, and my Plus just hit Alaska about an hour ago. Originally said 10-1 thru 10-6. Teach me to do the noble thing.

Well I know my phone was in Incheon in time to make UPS49 because of the person with the exact same scan times as me. I feel like that should mean we were on the same pallet and therefore both would be on the same flight, but maybe I'm wrong. I'm still thinking Tim Cook is hand delivering my phone. Lol.

None of us 5:20 people have made it onto the plane out of Incheon I believe.

This is so frustrating. I don't know who to blame: Apple, UPS, the Chinese Government. Ugh.

This pre-order has soured my experience. I wonder if would've had a better chance if I had lined up on launch day. I hear people got their iPhones sooner! Maybe I'll do that next year.

Yea that makes sense. I just wish the damn thing would get here already! I was up at 3AM ordering this mofo.

Thanks again man! I watched that Nat Geo documentary and that WorldHub or whatever is amazing! I work in a Distribution Center for Gap and it's nothing like the one in Louisville!

Using the "just a phone" vernacular just seems ignorant at best.
