By the way, be nice to your driver when they finally bring you your phone. Blaming the driver for your phone being held up in China is like blaming your waitress because your steak is overcooked. Food for thought.

i got bounced between 6, SIX!!! different people between domestic, international, and apple call handlers. everyone telling me oh you gotta talk to this person.... or that person....

I have my import scan done 3 hours ago. Just because you don't have it doesn't mean everyone doesn't have it.
There are also people getting their phones today (people who got on the earlier UPS109 flight before the government customs system slowed down).
The two UPS guys told us the NORMAL process and timelines. I'm 100% sure clogged customs system is not in their normal process and timelines. You should be thankful that they are giving an inside look into how the process works. It helps us track our phones and flights etc. They are really not responsible for government system being slow in processing your shipments.

That is pretty ****ed up man. Seriously, people were harmed and you're thinking that this was deserved because you supposedly think UPS is supposedly ****ing with people? Jesus Christ, have some respect and think before you type. It would be nice if the people with this train of thought, or even the thought process that UPS is intentionally ****ing with people, should experience further delays...like having to wait until the original anticipated ship date of Oct 1 - 6.
FYI: UPS is not likely ****ing with anyone.
Yea those idiots at Apple should have stuck to the original dates instead of trying these stunts of dispatching them earlier... Should have just kept the stocks for other launches... Stupid people... You're correct...
You're not alone, bud. I've got two phones in Kentucky right now that haven't been touched since 1:34am.
Same arrival scan, no import scan. And Apple's delivery estimate to me was the 29th, so I'm happy they appear to have been mistaken actually.
Hello flight mate! I honestly think your delivery estimation is a mistake - they will have to clear all of the phones to make room for the orders to follow. ;D

so I just got an import scan in Louisville at 12:17pm. I assume it will make the flight to Newark leaving at 3:58PM. assuming it arrives on time at Newark at 5:32PM, is there any chance I would be able to pick it up tonight from the UPS CC which is 30 minutes drive from the airport and is open until 7:30pm?

Yeah most of us have the same issue. Only people who got on UPS109 flight from Anchorage to Louisville last night got released from customs because they came in about 1 hr earlier than the rest of us.
Looks like when 3 UPS planes touchdown in Louisville they brought tons of iPhones and caused massive slowndown in government custom system which means our stuff didn't get cleared to leave Worldport in Louisville.
Now that we have customs scan, it should left KY later today for tomorrow's delivery.
People keep reading what they want to and not what I actually say. I said that the mean time is around 12:30, but that they would start Import Scans as early as 10 am and as late as 3 probably, but if the backlog is bad enough they might go all the way up until the time the planes take off. I NEVER said they would all be done by 12. I'm still waiting on my own.
I think he was joking, calm the F down Junior!! WOW some people need to unplug from the internet and stay in their parents basement for a few extra days to simmer down...
Out of those 3 plans from last night who has an Import Scan?
Mine came in this morning (9:05am) so I'm trying to guestimate when mine will get Import Scanned since UPS is so backed up...
There isn't one 24 hour round the clock shift. They're there working furiously now though, as you can see every few minutes somebody posts that they got an import scan. Keep an eye on it over the next 2 hours.
Its been 11 hrs and counting for me, so it may be a while.... although if you have Wed delivery you may jump in front of those with Thurs delivery. I think UPS is just taking their sweet old time on those ones.
i should have clarified in my post, my apartment building is considered a commercial address by mychoise, it wont let me register to change anything.
