I just want to point out the following. Apple estimated a delivery date for us. Call that the "Promise." Then, guess what? - We all got shipping notification earlier. That's our NEW Promise.
So, when UPS absolutely 100% fouls this up, we have every right to be irritated since that current, "valid," Promise is broken. Heck, my tracking info originally said Wednesday, and then changed yesterday to Monday...Monday...Monday, where it resolutely stayed - even up till last night at 11:30pm! Are you seriously telling me UPS's logistics are working when they're telling me at almost midnight PDT that my phone will still be delivered that day?
Now, it says Wednesday. Quite frankly I won't be surprised if it doesn't show up Wednesday. UPS screwed up here, and ANYONE in this thread has the right to be irritated about it. I know numerous people who took a day off work or worked from home yesterday (which is sometimes very difficult to arrange) and were left hanging by UPS.
Here's an analogy for you:
Hey Bob! I'm going to come and mow your lawn for you between 5pm and 6pm next Monday!
