The bottom line is Apple should have shipped ALL 10/1-10/6 Express Saver. It doesn't make sense to ship some Express and some Expedited. Treat all shipments alike if you are in that shipping window. Then all this crap wouldn't have happened.
Btw I had delivery for today 9/23 but it changed to 9/24 after import scan 1:34pm arrival scan group
This I can actually agree with! Not sure why people who ordered after me (my order went through app store around 12:30 PST) by as much as 8 hours are getting their phones before me because they were given express and I was given expedited with no choice in the matter.
Part of being human, particularly an adult human, is developing the ability to overcome your baser animal instincts and learn to empathize better with your fellow humans, and suppress the negative influences of your evolutionary heritage in order to work within and conform to a functional society.
If you're going to argue that we all simply have to accept every instinct and emotional flare up because we're human, then everyone should be able to **** in the street and kill anyone who pisses them off. It's just the sensations in their brain, man.
Probably a plane to an airport at your nearest hub, which will get picked up in the morning by your local center's air driver.

I agree, i think a lot of the frustration is from people on here who really should have been on the OG 9/19 shipment. On top of that we were randomly assigned either saver or expedited. Apple ******* up.
Its one thing to suppress them as necessary.
But look at it from his point of view too. Him knowing we would all have to suppress that instinct, why even post it. It doesn't bring us pleasure, just challenges us to fight our inner angst and just asking us to go through that unpleasant mental process is enough to not make it worthwhile for him to post that pic because the bad feeling outweighs any good feeling we could have had after over coming the bad one.
So its both our jobs, mine not to be jealous sure, but also his not to try to make me jealous unnecessarily.
I'll be curious to see what happens to those of us that still don't have an import scan once planes start taking off in earnest in the next 2 hours. Even if we're left behind, they still have until 5 am to catch the morning flight, but I'd rather see my tracking update before I go to work for the night. Then I'll be staring at brown boxes all night thinking about whats going on with my own. lol

TBH, as optimistic as Wasabi was, I never really expected I'd see it earlier. Especially when shipments were getting delayed,
Speak for yourself; I have no issues with people posting pictures of their new phones or announcing success. Seems to me like this is your problem, not mine or theirs.
As I said, there are morning flights out too that can still make Wednesday service. I imagine some of those left behind will fly out then. The only question is what percentage of people after that actually don't get their phones until Thursday? Under 10%? I can't imagine it being more than that.
One hour 20 mins until my phone takes off from Louisville for the 2 hr flight to Orlando. I wonder if it will make it to the Customer Center before 8 p.m. Maybe they would let me pick it up this evening?
My gut feeling is, those are being taken up by 9/24 people still in the works.
We've been in this scenario every day for the last few. Instead of going on the 3.46pm flight, it will still be in Louisville tonight, and at 3am we'll be sweating it going on an overnight flight to be delivered tomorrow.
