You have to realize, the reps have no more information than what you can see on the tracking website. Its usually a waste of time to call them unless you have a problem requiring the rep to call someone else to solve it.
 
I would try calling and getting a different rep or asking to speak with a supervisor. They should accommodate you and send a replacement in the mail while you use that phone. I'd be shocked if you cannot get that to happen.

Anyone with arrival scans in Incheon get a departure scan today yet? Mine is still showing arrival in Incheon yesterday at 8.00p local time as the latest activity. Beginning to think that Friday delivery is not in the cards now if it is not out of Korea today.

He picked his phone up at UPS and it had a scratch on it when he opened it. If he cannot exchange it at an Apple store the next best thing is to use it while they send a replacement in the mail so he will not be out of his new iPhone in the interim.

Are you proposing he open it at ups and refuse acceptance?

If so than he will be out of a phone for longer than what I suggested.

I would like to see some photos of the defects reported here. Both the scratches and the dust in the screen...
 
I mean manufacturing defects are a certainty when producing this many devices, but it doesn't make it suck any less. Fingers crossed I get a device free of defects. Not stressed about the delivery date, but I am slightly worried about defects.

I know. I was initially stressed about the delivery process. That part has cleared up. NOW the worry of a flawless device. A small minuscule scratch will not throw me into a fit, tiny dust particles, dead pixels, vertical lines on the screen will p!ss me off :rolleyes: Never had a problem with my last 3 iPhones, don't want one now - especially out of the box.

so just picked up my phone from ups, it is 6+ and the packing box was so tiny that i assumed they just sent me the replacement phone box which only has phone in it and nothing else and i was getting furious, when got back home i didnt want to open it without filming whats inside box just in case i need proof to show apple picked up my camera and battery was dead, put the battery on charge and started walking from one end of corridor to other waiting it to pick some charge 10 minutes later it had some charge so plugged it and opened box and it was the original packaging i was amazed how tiny height box it is. the box wrapper does show its been through hell, the shrint wrap is all scratched and looks like it was stuck in assembly belt and scratched or something but the ups box looks fine from oustide and inside. now im waiting on my camera battery to charge so i can film the unboxing. cant wait to see the phone , excieted excieted.

Me and you both! I have 9/26 as delivery, it waaas 9/25

My gf ordered her phone a day after me and somehow her phone left Korea first than me?! Ups is playing eenie minie miny mo

If it helps any, mine was in Korea mid day yesterday (thought no way it will be here today).

It arrived at 7:52am ET at the UPS hub outside Philadelphia waiting for me to pick it up.

No updates on the tracking page, but I got an email from UPS that my delivery was changed from the 26th to tomorrow, the 25th. I had mine set for will call since I won't be home Friday, so I cancelled will call, I hope that doesn't screw things up.
