October 27 Preorder, November 3 Launch Date for iPhone X

New AirPods were a rumor from the "leak," no? I thought it is just a new case for the AirPods?

Airpods do have a different case, there was a macrumors post about how the OS showed something too. New case or no new case, none of it was mentioned. For all we know Airpods could have gotten better battery life with the 2.0 airpods that come with the new case.

imagine millions and millions of people all over the world (since its a worldwide pre order at the same day/time) trying to pre order the iPhone X

Any pre orders after 1.5 seconds after the pre orders goes live, and you are looking at shipping times somewhere february/march 2018. Just 6 or 7 months away from the 2018 iPhone Keynote

The AirPod case was mentioned when they mentioned the "AirPower" charging pod. Same AirPods, new case.

Is the iPhone X even worth buying? It releases in November and realistically will probably be delayed into April or May half way through the product life cycle. 2018 is already rumored to have a larger screen iPhone X possibly in the body type of the iPhone 8 Plus with a 6.8 inch screen and 16 megapixel camera. Torn between 6s, SE and X at the moment.

Wow. I fully expected a preorder on 9/15 with probably early October deliveries. But can’t preorder until the end of October for a November release? They better have a crap ton available on 11/3. I don’t want to hear about delays into December for preorders.
