It's actually from the White Mountains in New Hampshire, specifically: this was the Franconia Notch shot from the top of Cannon Mountain.

I took the two below also. It was cool to be up with the clouds.

thats the orginial too, i saw that a few years ago and my jaw dropped to the floor. I went looking for it again not to long ago and i found on on a magazine cover, i swear its the same picture but she's facing the other way, i posted that in another thread, but it sucked cause it at all the cover articles in the way.

Hiking up there was so much fun. I have a pic thats looks very similar from Frankenstein Cliffs. The area around there is so nice and very photogenic. I have many pics frm my camping trip up there at my website. Just look under the pictures link. Also my desktop earlier in this thread is from just around the corner of Cannon Mtn. at Crawford Notch.

also useful for seeing what your compy is up to while you're away from it. although VNC is much better for that. 😉

I for one don't like it when I have icons on my desktop. Because once I start it gets messy pretty fast. And for the HD icons... I can access these with just one click more. I guess I just like things cleaned up and not messy.
