If you want to change themes you'll have to try something like ShapeShifter. Personally I wouldn't recommend it, for fear of making my system unstable, but lots of people seem to do it, so it can't be all that bad.
 
acceber - that's a great pic. :) do you mind sharing the link for that? does it come in at least 1280px wide? ;)

so Flat Eric is in a Bassment Jaxx clip as well? i might have to hunt around for some info on that as well.

for all of your themeing needs, you can always rely on these sites:
http://www.macthemes.net/ - not just themes here, other good stuff as well.
http://www.resexcellence.com/themes/ - lots of themes here, including some not-so-good ones.
and check out the Fun Mac forums: http://funmac.com/forumdisplay.php?f=51 and especially the sub forums for user modded themes. :)

as munkle said, you'll need ShapeShifter for most of those themes, but i think you can use another app to actually change the resources that OS X uses, and with that method you can change the login screen and 'About this Mac' screens as well. but SS is safe, that's all i'd recommend.

I thought I'd add 2 desktops that I always try to set up but that go down after a couple secs again because I get distracted waaay to much. :D

First off, I love the background, that's really cool.

Second, how did you make your buddy list look like that?????? What program is that? and what settings did you set?
 

That's too funny - I just changed my home desktop to that picture and was gonna post it here. Well you beat me to it.

Yeah, that's my snap from Sunday.

I took it at the Pumpkin Festival in Hartsburg, MO.

Maybe advres was there and took the same pic!

Most likely he meant the guy before me, or has a similar picture.

So which is it, advres?

These are the new adium 0.7 buddy lists.. You can customize them as you like :D

Currently there is only the 0.63 on the main page, you can find the 0.7 beta on their forum.
