How do you like Win7? I know this is a Mac forum but I use both Mac and Windows. Been using Vista on multiple machines for a long time and, despite what some people like to claim about that OS, I personally have experienced NO problems on ANY of them at all and that's with heavy use, multiple peripherals connected, in both home and work environments, etc. Zero problems. So, I'm stoked to get 7 which they say runs even better. I have my copies already preordered. Just curious how you like it. [Not trying to get something going about MS or Vista or 7, just sharing my experience and asking a question.]

I, like you, had no problems with Vista on my Macs. I initially had problems with Vista but after SP1 came out, I haven't had any problems yet. Windows 7 is very similar to Vista, just more polished a little better when it comes to newer technologies such as SSD and such. I personally like the OS, I just don't really like the GUI all that much. I kinda believe Vista's GUI looks nicer than Windows 7, but that's just me.

Thought I'd change it up a bit for the season. :)

Here is another for Halloween. Had to dig this one out. Taken about this time of year in 2006, Sedona, Arizona. I wish I had taken it in horizontal composition instead of vertical..oh well...

had to scale this down, too large to attach..

finally there is a way to make the menubar black on SL. now if only silk worked it would be perfect. PM if you want the link to the black menubar instructions. (coolest part is the apple icon in the upper left).

how did you get the dock like that? i'd really love something like that on my desktop instead of the icons.

:eek:

how do u get that clock with the weather on your desktop, and your folders to have those icons?
:confused::confused::confused:

You could read through the thread and you'll find all the answers you need.
Its called geektools. You can get scripts to display the time, weather, CPU monitor, and a bunch of other stuff on your desktop. And you can download icons online to replace default icons.
